![]() Hi all, I would like to point out to the eq2 team that low level gear is now much less effective (especially old eq2 gear).. On my lvl 10 toon I lost 50% helth and power... I had 980 health before expansion and now is 530, almost same for power. Just wanted to point it out... Best, Gareth |

![]() This was a point of concern in beta, but we were ignored. Yes, it's a big deal. In fact, I believe we were told that Health and Power were not going to be removed, but instead were simply not going to be itemized going forward. At best our valid concerns were not addressed, at worst, we were deceived as to the actual facts of the situation. You choose. Either way, it needs to be fixed.

My lvl 50 ranger, using mostly Frostfell armour, lost a huge amount of health and power too. They need to go back and: (a) add corresponding stamina to all items that had health removed. (While higher level toons will likely be less impacted, due to the removal of the sta soft cap, anyone below that cap, or with items that had health on them, but not sta, is screwed). (b) review all of the tradeskill recipes. Thanks to the stat consolidation, having a necklace that gives 15 to all stats is of far less benefit than it was before SF and DoV. I've feedbacked it in-game... guess we'll see if anything actually comes of it.

![]() I spent a fair amount of beta time testing out how the changes were affecting low level stuff. The late beta changes to how the conversion worked really hit low levels hard. It was reported then, all I can say is report it more now and maybe they'll change the scaling at least. Most of my chars are below 60 and all of them came out worse for the wear in this change. |

The gear I paid several plat each for in T4 fabled lost a lot of power (Ancient Wyvern Hide Cap had like 100ish power), with no corresponding increase in stats to compensate. Give my plat back SoE!

![]() The level of stupidy that has been reached there is really high. They broke low level itemisation with an expansion that is 86+ only. Doing something worst would have been hard. |

![]() I just canceled my account again. My gf too! We are just done! Fed up and tired with SOE and this game! Everything pre-Velious is broken now. All lower Tier armor and items are outdated and mostly useless due to wrong stat distribution. On my level 45 warden I lost pretty much all my avoidance overnight with the Velious release. Severely affecting my solo play. They completely broken the game pre level 85. Maybe they can just place buff bots at the starter zones or easier, just let us create level 85 characters at char select and be done with it! As right now it's just NOT fun leveling and playing with toons that are NOT max level and fully geared and mastered. SOE seems to be only caring about the hardcore crowd now and the players with max level toons. Everyone else is not important anymore. EPIC FAIL! |

![]() i think that the problem is that they dont think it is a big deal bc "everybody wants to be 90--yesterday". that is really not the case. been playing almost a year and i have zero 90 adventurers. i have one 90 sage. the nerfing of her clothes seriously hurts her crafting bc she runs out of power faster. i've level locked most of my characters in their 30s so they have some AA. would it be that hard to add power/health back to items that are under level 80? |

You are aware of the patch notes saying how people have avoidance now? All the complaining in the general forum that is here about ability to solo, etc is due to not understanding or reading the patch notes. I logged in my only 90 to check avoidance, and it is right where it should be for a mage (~33%). I really don't understand how people can be having problems. They said some things are moved to self buffs. I think it is a perception issue.

They said some things are moved to self buffs. I think it is a perception issue. Maybe you should learn to read? We are not talking about level 90 toons. As high end gear has been adjusted to the new stat dumbification. It's the lower tiers gear and items that are broken now! Plus the transfer of avoidance from AGI to self buffs is a total joke. As my level 45 Warden (even with the adjusted buffs up and running) went from 40+ % avoidance down to 17% avoidance since Velious! And that is not all! The lower level chars now also lost significant amounts of health and power since Velious! Up to more than 50% !! Again, as example, my level 45 Warden lost about 20-25% health and almost 50% power! A friend of mine playing a low level ranger lost over 50% in health on his toon! He had already a hard time solo'ing as a ranger (as we know it's not the easiest class, never was), but now it's down to simply not even fun anymore for him! He just stopped playing and left the game out of disgust. |

I have some theories, but none of them are flattering. |

Maybe both of you should stop attacking me. My first thought was, oh shut the hell up. If you had read what I said, and what you even typed, you would see that my avoidance never really changed. High end gear? Obviously AGI doesn't affect a mage anymore, yet I still have the expected range of avoidance. My T4 mystic has similar avoidance still, and I soloed Ari the CL guard last night (level 40^^^). I also solo level 46^ Fire Toad just fine.

![]() A decrease of absolute numbers does not automatically mean that a low level char is now weaker. I don't know but maybe the devs have decreased also the mob strenght. Have you tested if the fights are now really much harder? If so, then you are right and the devs must adjust low level gear. But if not, if you can kill the mobs in the same time as before then it's ok. |

![]() there is other stuff that doesnt make sense either....the handcrafted or mastercrafted bow for instance...it is a rogue type weapon first right? i mean, the assy, the dirge, the ranger, they all have bow specific abilities....and look at the stats....either str and agi or str and stam, making the bow now a fighter only weapon. |
