how are you even trying to get into SP?i can't even patch the game!it endlessly fails with an error saying: "an unknown error has occured"

How do you do a full scan to get your characters back if your not using the Station launcher?  I don't see that option on the regular EQ2 launcher.

I just want to take the time to thank everyone for some very entertaining posts.   I was bored at work today so this kept me happier .  

Way back when I used to get ticked off when the servers werent up on patch day, or release day, or expansion day etc..   I dont even worry about it anymore.  Got that monkey off my back .  So now I log in, if it's up and I want to play, I do.  If not, find something else to do.   /shrug.

Full scans, log out, log back in, delete .ini files - I've done all that multiple times, I still only see 4 of my 9 characters.

I have a second account on a second computer - same deal.  Only 4 of my 7 characters on that account show up.

I'm patched, all ready to roll, Station launcher set to Eu english and then the updater fails every 5 seconds. so use the eq2.exe file to launch game, takes me to my US character? i can't even get to my EU character select, server online or not? need some help

Be sure to rescan and start the launcher over.  This happened to me as well.  Relaunching fixed it

Relaunching (with a full file scan) nor deleting the ini file fixed the issue for me.

I get this too, I have swapped to English(US) and patched, but not sure if that will really patch it correctly

well Splitpaw seems to be working now =P

On the launch pad, there is a "clear cache" button under options. Clearing the cache is what cleared up the missing toons for me and I'm in now. Try that.

I'm sure that it's related to the massive surge of players attempting to login simultaneously, but my loading screen is hanging at "receiving zone info" for 5-10 minutes at a time on the oasis server each time I attempt to zone -- this is unacceptable.  Every player in my guild is experiencing the same issue, so it's not locally significant.

OK , just finished a full file scan , and redeleted my ini ... does not fix the problem with the standalone launcher

UH O , just tried to launch my main account from the station launcher on my working machine ... now it has the same problem that the standalone launcher has ...

and now IT can't find the server for the second account now either ... argh

now I'm locked out on both machines , on both accounts

Ok this helped, at least somewhat.  I went to my eq2 launcher and hit options, then hit the clear cache button down towards the bottom.  I got all my toons back, but Everfrost still seems to be down, and can't login anyway.

I have moved quite a few threads into the Tech Support forums.  If you are experiencing log in issues, please find a thread that has your issue in it and add your voice to it

I did the same  and  got my characters back  but i yes  everfrost is down for me too...  it seems like splitpaw and everfrost r just not working!
