I know from the webcast that QA was having some growing pains regarding todays DOV release..

(Allready cpl hours overdue from expected server unlock)

Would you be so kind as to inform (us) the players with an ETA or at least a progress report on the hiccup?

I am sure there are thousands of paying customers who would like an answer. Come on guys act like professionals and communicate any issues and potential timelines. Anything less is simply amature and unprofessional.

We are paying a company without employees. This is the first time they say absolutely nothing about servers status.

Also, if your estimated downtime always exceeds the actual downtime wouldn't it make sense to adjust it going forward? I am a server admin and learned a long time ago to always add in a little wiggle room to time estimates. I would assume that people working for Sony would have enough experience to know this...

Exactly... every engineer or software designer worth their salt knows the "Scotty Principle".  Set expectations low, if something blows up - do not leave your users in the dark.

There is an official Launch Day Server Status thread that's being updated. Keep an eye on that. You can also see of the servers are up via the Patch Page.

As we're rapidly running out of 'Day 1' on the UK/Euro servers , will we still get the othmir potion as basically....unless the servers are up within the next 2 hours

...I won't be able to log in 'today'

Ok this is just sloppy on SOE's part. That whole "will be up soon" nonsense is not adequate enough. SOE has always done a better job of giving a better, more presecise, time and updates than this.

Then they question Subs  /grrr.

Give us an updated ETA or just say tomorrow for God's sake so we're not waiting endlessly to see "IF" servers are coming up.

They don't go by your time. They go by Pacific time. They already said when they announced the launch rewards thing that the items would be availble until 10am pacific the next day when the new one would become available. So as long as you are able to log on long enough to claim it before  10pacific tomorrow you should be good on the othmir potion.

is the server up? Because if it is i still cant log in. I get an error that says. "The Server could not find your character. Please exit and rerun the patcher." i've done this at least 10 times.

Ok, server up bue each time I try to zone I was disconnected and the select char window says that the server is locked, I only have 4 chars (not 10) and I need to repach (once, twice, ..... how many times?). FIX IT!!! WE ARE TRYING TO PLAY HALF DAY WITHOUT ANY NOTICE ABOUT THE ETA AND WE FIND THAT STILL CAN PLAY!!!!

If they ever reply...What we have EU servers still really? lol they never get any love last to get updates last to go up ect ...but always scoop the cash on time go figure

It finally showed that Everfrost is up but that is not the case. I log into character select, it shows the server is down and of course most of my toons aren't there. In 10 mins it will have been 12 hours. Will Everfrost ever be available?

Well, its 11pm here in good old Blighty and our only server, Splitpaw, is still not up. Evening wasted. I have to get up in 6 hours for work, and by the time I get back the 'first' day of play will probably be over if they are adhering to the 10am pacific time frame and not 24 hours from when the server goes live... Why is it Splitpaw is always the last for any kind of anything? Thanks guys.

Yup, It is 23:17 here and still no servers, for god sake. This makes wow look good, give us some info. its not fair you guys take our money quick enough, however when we ask why we arnt getting what we pay for, silence

I'm using the classic launcher, I mean the one installed with my CD's since my very first install.

When I choosed region English-US: the game patched and I logged on Oasis with a toon, zoned into Great Divide (9) and it works.

When I choose region French-FR (I'm playing on Storms - French language server), the patch cancels after the check of commonlands.vpk_delta ...

Many of Storms players have this issue and communication on French language forums is equal to zero.

Would really appreciate if we could have some information !!!

I think we should be allowed refunds for this rubbish. I want my money back

Edit: I have put in for a refund, and if I am not refunded, i will not be subscribing or buying another expansion pack again
