The icewolf pup is neat, but the potion is a bit underwhelming.

The pup might be a house pet that can be tapped to follow you outside as well.

a stinking potion?? really?? >.< dont we get enough of those in LoN packs? this months rewards are a pretty big letdown. the puppy is ok. but a potion?? *head desk*

wanted to add i thought the rewards were supposed to be big, something for us to look forward too. not really looking forward to another potion that isnt probly going to get used.

The puppy also isn't just a shrunk down wolf .  He's a brand new model with exclusive puppy animations.

Okay, yes, it's extremely underwhelming.  I'd have been somewhat impressed if it were an unlimited-charge bauble with a 7-day recast on it, or something along those lines.  A single-use, two-hour duration potion?  Not so much.

Have to agree.  Another pet to follow you around is not too bad but the potion is .......

Actually words fail me.  It seems that SOE will put loads of effort into SC items but can't be bothered for items they get no money for.

Eh... I'm actually pleased with these rewards. Yes, a 1 charge potion is not the second coming, but... it's free, and it's one per character. I don't mind getting 15 extra potions by virtue of simply being a subscriber. SMILEY Looking forward to the puppy too... hopefully, he does not try to eat my duck!

Seriously... what a huge disappointment.  You know I bet they had something really awesome planned for that reward in the first place (ya right..) but when people complained about the 7 year veteran reward not giving exp potions, they changed it to that.  WTG SOE!

P.S.   Still upset about the 7 year reward being a totally lame house that is impossible to decorate.

getting free stuff just isn't good enough for some people.  They don't have to give you anything.  Dont even say that the rewards is the reason you continue to subscribe because if it is, you should seek some serious help.

I love the pup but the second prize.... LAME. I mean COME ON! Its just the same type of potion you can get from LoN minus the speed bonus. Highly disappointed in getting a one use item as part of a prelaunch reward.... Can you not come up with something else that would of been nicer than some one shot potion that does the same thing as a redeemable item from the card game?

Well they could give you a thousand of every other expansion's pre-launch rewards...NOTHING. These are GIFTS! If you don't like them, DON'T /CLAIM THEM. Did you even note the potion is heirloom? If you have one character who is at 90/250 then just pass it on to an alternate character who can use it.

On behalf of all those folks who play, enjoy, but don't bother to read the forums I would like to thank SOE for this gift.

well at first i thought it was just amusing the potion that is, BUT given some of the de rigeur Beadle Bumbling by some in the thread and their "MORE?!?!?"  "whaddya want for free....take yer one charge helping of gruel and LIKE IT" attitudes. LOL

These were bandied about as special "rewards", they should be um i don't know, special and rewarding SMILEY

Even something celebrating expansions past like a Burynai from the Kunark pre-order or soemthing on that theme, but really now, a potion?  I haven't used the ones I have haha.  These were advertised as specials, so yeah I think people were expecting ... "MORE??!?!?"

So yeah it's commentable and funny on SOE's part and it's lamentably predictably and laughably lame on the Beadle Bumble crowd's part.  Over all, worthy of remark as one could say SMILEY

I'm going to pull a wait and see myself(potion), the animations make me think house-pet though. Though it might be both like the butler but with no time limit?

After all, the reward is a gift, it feels impolite of me to demand more, it would make me feel like a bad gift receiver.

The puppy is very cute.  The kitten was probably the most adorable pet in the game and this will be a great addition! SMILEY  The potion is a bit disapointing as I was hoping for a reward that woud be more permanent but I still would like to thank the developers for the Velious gifts.  It is a nice gesture that they did not have to do and I for one apreciate it.

underwhelming is definately the word of choice. Did you forget to ask Domino about what players want?  She seems to be one of the few devs that still cares about the players.

Well, pups, kittens...tiny versions of things when you buy them as pets...like PegLeg the mini troll.

A white pup is nice, but I bougt the white wolf pet and was dissabpointed that it was pup size.   How about giving us the option to have the adult, full sized version?

Or even a fighting pet, even if underpowered, that follows us around, that all characters can aquire.

As for gifts, yes, looks like a fun gift, and will be cool next to the Hallasian wolf mount, but could have done with an unusual house item or weapon or something other than a potion, though the potion is nice.

And yes, thank you Sony for the gifts.

The Veterins reward house is Lame?  Bummer, I have been looking forwards to a house that is better than the Gorowyn one....which by the way is why I relocated my Teir dal to there, needed a really large house and would have like a castle.   Is the Veterins reward house the same as the True blood one?

I do have to agree though, that a potion, while nice, is not really special.

I do have to agree though, that a potion, while nice, is not really special.

The True Blood Lair is basically the same as the 7year vetran house except it is a bit smaller and has a basement room. One room. So I guess it depends on how huge or how small you want your "mansion" to be. I like both. . .

As for the wolf pup. . . I love wolves so I will love the wolf pup. I won't complain about the potion. .I am sure one of my characters can use it as a helping hand in getting exp somewhere. .most likely my Vamp.

Anyway. . . .thanks Sony! But I do agree  . . ..the devs do not seem to know what we want save for Domino. . . I still want to apply for the job as "go between" for forum users and devs. Any openings??

While I am glad to be getting these rewards, I have to ask who thought of this potion as a good idea? Does it seem silly to anyone else that we are getting a potion that increases AA, combat and tradeskill all at once? I mean if I'm using it to tradeskill, then I am probably going to be grinding away to get as much exp as possible. Therefore the other two "benefits" of the potion are completely wasted. Same idea if you use it for AA/combat experience. You are probably going to be questing away and not getting the benefit of the tradeskill bonus.

Anyway, I just wanted to bring that up. Perhaps three separate potions would be a better idea. But it sounds to me like its probably already done and set in stone.

They are giving the potion cause people have complained over the last couple of years that they havent goten any xp type potions from vet rewards...thats what im figureing.

Crying that all dev time is spent on SC....

Crying that only SC/market place is getting stuff....

Crying about  free goodies that  the devs put time into....

Crying because you got free stuff andf its not a rolls royce.....

What the hell is wrong with you people.

Seriously - if it was 3 seperate 2 hour pots, I'd be over the moon.  However, since it's all 3 types of xp at once, well - I can't effectively earn all 3 at once, so that's kind of a downer.
