Will the ability to travel to SWG ever exist?

I think it would be a great idea to have some type of "portal" that would allow my vampire shadowknight to travel to another dimesion, such as the Star Wars Galaxy universe! I would really like to be able to be a vampire shadow-jedi-knight.

Please consider this most amazing idea.

Actually when EQ2 was first being made they said in interviews they wanted to let us cross over into other SOE games like EQ1. They were going to have cross game zones where EQ2 players and EQ1 players could interact and see each other. It never happened though.

as SWG Refugee, I don't want this its not the same, they kill it with NGE.

as eq2 player, First fix the classes and bugs, but i like your creative mind.

If they could do it and charge SC I am sure they would implement it

Well, if you are going to do THAT, hook it to WoW (thought I read something somewhere that Blizzard was bought by SOE or something along that line). I loved my boomkin and would bring her to EQII lol! However, I'd never take an EQII toon to WoW. WoW is B-O-R-I-N-G and could never keep my interest like EQII can. So, SOE if you don't already own Blizzard, buy them out and hook the two games for my personal satisfaction LOL

I would be happy if they would just take a few pages from the PreNGE playbook out of SWG. I love the fact that everything you use in the game is MADE by an actual person. I love the fact that you have to search the different planets for stats on your resources. I love the fact that there are so many options for clothing/armor customizations. I love the fact that EVERYTHING you loot in the game can be placed in your home. I love the fact that there are actually vendors that look like people who are there to help serve your needs. I love the fact that PreNGE you could build a class to suit your needs ... a little pistols here, a little creature handler there, a little swords on the side ... how cool would it be to build your own class (yeah, I understand thats kinda what the AA is for, but its just not the same ... seriously). I love love love the player cities. The guild halls are cool, but if they functioned more like the player cities in SWG ... HOLY CRAP I WOULD BE SOOOO HAPPY!!!
