i've been messing with the free to play to see whats changed. i decided to turn on my account i shut off 4 years ago to check my old chars. logged in on the website, paid for a month, but when i log in theres no chars. its the same username and password i used back when i played. did i do something wrong? hate to think i'd have to pay another $15 if thi somehow gave me a fresh new account

1. make sure the language is set correctly - if it is inocrrect it will point you at the wrong servers. On station launcher/streaming launcher after you sign in, select station then Languages

2. if this on the character drop down list or when you hit PLAY - the drop down list is populated after you enter the game, use the PLAY to get to the character select

3. verify you paid for the eq2 live game and not a gold membership on the f2p servers

i tried what you said and i'm still not seeing them. i know i didnt pay for a gold account on the free servers cause it was different options for payment. it didnt even show the gold, plat membership page. the lang is set to us eng but under my chars it just says new char. click play and it doesnt show any chars. and if i make a new char it doesnt even show me the najena server i played on before.....is najena a foriegn server now or something?

Najena is gone now I think. It merged last week but I don't know which one it became.

well crap. hopefully they didnt delete chars of dormant accounts. i had 70s on mine and my wifes account. but tha does explain why i cant search for my chars or those of my wife and friends from najena

they would not have deleted them, are you going all the way to character select by hitting PLAY?

I noticed that the account you are posting under started EverQuest II just yesterday.  Your characters are most likely on an alternate/older account.  If you need any assistance with recovering your original account, please open a support ticket.

thanks. thats what happened. somehow when i tried to remember my old account info i put in this account name. turns out it was a different one. i dont remember creating a new account with this. it let me log in the webite with this info. beats me. got it straightened out, but the guy was gonna send me a follow up email that i think went to an old email address. trying to get that sent again to the right address to check out my 70sk

talked to the same tsr yesterday afternoon about this time and they are transfering my subscription to the right account. i was just wondering how long this should take. seems like it shouldnt take the 24 hours its been.
