New Marketplace Items: Chillborn Mace & Frostfell Cubes

After last week's "hot" Marketplace items, we're cooling things off a bit. Pick up a Chillborn Mace and you'll have the coolest new weapon appearance around, then grab a Frostfell Cube cosmetic pet to show off your Frostfell spirit!

As of the time of this post, it isn't appearing in the appearance weapons in the station marketplace. Is it only for eq2x players?

bah humbug!

the cubes were MUCH more fun for me before the cap and elf were shrunk so small you cant even tell whats inside them.

I even roleplayed with my dark elf and her frosty minion because it was a dark elf male in her cube and it was her "Unfortunate Boyfriend" stuck inside. I always got lols as I ran about with him in tow, several hails to him, now no more. QQ

But alas, now it looks just like a frosty cube, her boyfriend is shrunk to the size of an apple.

Not appealing or fun anymore. Its sad I cant bring out those pets anymore because of the less fun factor.

/begs the powers that be to size them up again.

In all honesty you really cant see whats inside of them, they really should be re-evaluated by the art team.

As of the time of this reply, it still hasn't shown up. Which is a shame, as I was going to buy it for my templar.

Weird. I mamaged to buy the elf in the cube last night. When I went to buy one as a gift for a guildie. it was gone from the store. Mine, however, remains faithfully following me.

why are all the SC appearance weapons wands and sticks with balls on them? We KNOW there are awesome weapon appearances out there to be had that could receive a little re-texturing for SC apperance items. I'm not saying you should sell epics for appearance but there are tons others.

Anyone know what happened to the Dark Elf Cube? I bought one last night and they're still not showing up. They've flown the coop so to speak.

I want to gift one and don't want the generic cube! I want a dark elf in mine!

No, mine has a very easily seen Elf inside of it. What I mean is that I want to buy a SECOND one to send as a gift and it's no longer showing up in the store. Another poster suggested that was because I already have one and you can't have the same pet twice. That makes sense. It does, however, remove the possibility of gifting a pet one already owns, which seems a bit undesireable from SOE's perspective.
