Why was there no bonus XP over the long weekend.   There seems to be a push for the p2p (station cash) again without rewarding the loyal customers who just want to play the game without having to purchase the items from the station cash store.  I maybe wrong but it seems to me that I remember that one last bonus xp weekend was almost forgotten and had to be implemented at the last minute.  It feels like there is more and more of a shift of the p2p model for the live servers.  The question really boils down to what happened to the bonus xp over the holiday weekend?

Bonus weekends used to be very few and far between, they've increased them lately.  US Holiday weekend =| bonus weekend.  Traditionally we'd only see 'em right before new content was released to help us get to the cap SMILEY

So aside from the bonus weekend discussion, wonder when we will find out what the daily deal will be, hopefully before the day is over.

I am wondering the same exact thing. Not more than a week ago it was the 6th anniversary of EQ2, and a couple of days ago it was Thanksgiving weekend. So you're telling me its this very celebratory weekend and no double xp to reward your faithful players? Bah..

Amnerys,

Would it be too much to ask if you could try to get an "okay" with Legal if you could just put out the whole week's 'super fan holiday deals' ...

The build up over the week is just annoying, imo!

I'm pretty sure I wasn't even tempted to buy any of the items last time but it still required me to check it every day to see if there would be something I'd like to pick up at a discounted price.

Also, I am curious to know if anyone is buying the SC at 35% discount knowing that there will probably be at least 1 more 50% before Christmas ...

I also missed not having the bonus xp weekend.  We need more of the ones with the bonus aa with it.  Its not too hard to level your characters to cap but getting anywhere near cap on AA is very difficult.  I have 4 level 90s with none over 200 AA.   To make up for the missing bonus XP weekend, putting up those potions that give bonus AAXP for half off specials would be a wonderful idea. Not only would your customers be happy SOE will probally make a boatload of cash too!
