I am certain this question has been asked many many times before. I am now 90. I have all legendary gear and i am earning marks in runs on instances and doing the marks solo. I am working to 'envervate' my fabled weapon. I was not going to turn it into a mythical. As I have been looking at the greater mark armor in Stonebrunt, i see there are two types of gear. What should I be focusing on 'gearwise', statwise?

My crit is 101.2%

My Crit Bonus is about 23%

My multi attack is around 63%

My Crit mitigation is 9% (What is this and why do I need it?)

My potency is around 23% (What is this and how does it affect my skills?)

I have about 30 marks and was going to save for the good shoulders.

I am using Jojos claws at my weapons.

80% of my primary attacks are mastered. I have about 4 that are expert.

Should I continue with aquiring Marks?

What pieces of gear (be specific if you can and why) should I work towards?

I have 200 AA at this time.

Thanks much!

Perfect.  Going any higher would be a waste so balance stats to keep it just over 100% and get other bonuses boosted.

Certain raid mobs can crit when they attack.  If you don't fight any mobs which can crit then this is meaningless to you.  It's really only meaningful as bridge gear for those getting into raiding until they have their fabled gear.

My potency is around 23% (What is this and how does it affect my skills?)

Potency affects the base amount of heals, other spells, and combat arts.  So if you use a CA art its base damage is now 23% higher than it would be if you had no potency, which also means of course that when you crit it hits harder.  This does NOT affect melee attacks, but crit bonus does.

You'll be getting marks doing quests for AAs anyway, so why not?  Also, there is some decent T2 mark armor you can get for slots where you need it.  So if you need the gear, why not do it?  Unless you raid, your gear will likely be a combination of legendary mark gear (get the T2 stuff), legendary dungeon drops, and legendary quest items.

What pieces of gear (be specific if you can and why) should I work towards?

I have no idea what class you are, but it's clear when you look at the mark gear (or any drops for that matter) what classes they are intended for.

I have 200 AA at this time.

Thanks much!
