Exactly. Usually the team with the better players will just walk all over the other team. I've been on plenty of teams that have beaten teams with 2 healers and none of our own.

Yes keep defending the crappy matchmaking service so we continue to have crappy gameplay.

Keep up the fanboy attitudes,

If I'd get to chose 2 healers or Corydonn for my team, I'd pick Corydonn. Just sayin'.

no one likes the fact that the qued system is flawed but after months and months of asking for a fix with out even so much as a coment from a dev..  people are tired of these kinds of threads so they troll people who make them.

what you see here isin't fanboi'ing, it's trolling.

The matchmaking system attempts to put healers on both teams and put premade vs premade.... But EQ2's population isn't that big you have to remember and sometimes you are dealt bad cards so you aren't waiting for over five minutes, I rather have fast games than balanced perfect group games.

If all your tanks assisted through one tank and effectively used taunting you would've won. I think that's what people mean by "the better group", basic strategies like that.

If a healer can't single target heal his heals are pretty much worthless over the long haul, especially when it comes to healing relic damage.

If you guys want to make statements about preferring to have a better geared, more experienced BG tank on your team, at the cost of your team having no healers, make sure it is when the other team has 2 healers with comparable gear and experience to the tank. See how that works out for you.Assuming groups of comparable gear and skill, i'll take the group with 2 healers, you guys can have a brawler.

Again, Depends on the players... If the healers aren't getting support, They are going to be picked off.

Yeah, the team with the team lineup that looked golden got stomped. Ive been in plenty of those. The team with the PVP or Raid gear wins.

Hey Devs, Matchmaker fix please! We've only been asking for this since day one of BG release.

Your still whining about not getting a healer?

Why dont you start a healer then you will never be without one, I am normally not one to say L2p but really it kind of fits here.

So that would probably make me a fanboi or troll.../shrug, a little of both I guess.

You dont need a healer to win.

But seriously, you're the kind of guy that zones into gears without a healer and spends the whole match talking about the fact there isn't a healer instead of contributing. I hate you, and everyone like you that plays this game. Please spend less time whining and more time winning, it contributes to the general growth of the game and makes gameplay more enjoyable for all.

I dont think random matching making is SO bad. I mean you cant win everything so sometimes dont get good luck, what can ya do. You can always form your own group to go in as an organized team.

Since gear is equal to time spent & with time comes skill in utilizeing your class in muti situations (hopefully)  Then the only thing left to whine about is group make up , wich soe has given us the tools to control.

So in essence there is really nothing to whine about.

I could roll an alt, power level it to 90 in 5 days, 4/5ths afk BGs for tokens, get full BG gear, and still know nothing about the class. Does that make me a pro just because I have the gear? Nope. Does it make me a worthless scrub just because I don't yet have full BG gear on ALL of my toons? Nope; just squishier than I could be.

Just sayin...

Are these rules laid down in writing by eq2 personnel, or your observation?

the way devs have explained the matchmaker is this;

grabs 2 premades

fills in slots needed

starts.

If there are no 2 premades,

fills in slots needed

starts.

It all goes to hell when it fills a slot with someone who declines, then randomly fills the spot after the match starts. This has been stated by devs, can't be bothered to find where.
