There is one.... Its called Partical Effects its in the options menue in the display tab.

Yes, it will show some effects even at 0 spells results & 0 particle effects, however, it is so nominal, they aren't very much. And do remember to turn your sound off, that way you won't be annoyed by the sound effects, either. And if you put your camera in third person and move it the furthest possible, the characters basically look like they are just standing around doing nothing! Or, face your character into a wall or some other object or just turn your back to the rest of the characters in the scene. Then you won't have to be concerned about seeing any animation effects. And with the sound off, that should easily solve your personal difficulties.

The changes to Greater Faydark have had an impact on some pre-existing quests.  I have a city writ to kill Crushbone Sentries.  They no longer exist and have been replaced with Crushbone Invaders.  The invaders did not update the quest so there is no way to complete this writ.  Same goes for the kill the saplings writ.  The corrupted saplings do not count and the regular versions have been removed.

In Honor and Service requires killing the sentries; however, the invaders did work for the update.  But still the quest directions need to be changed to indicate killing a different mob.   Also, the quest description for one of the orc spies gives directions referring to the wooden bridge or branch.  That branch no longer exists and the mob is just on the ground.  So again, the quest wording needs to be modified.

I apologise if this has been posted...

In Options/User Interface/Chat Colors channel 14 is missing and there are two 11 instead. This messes up my channels after channels 13 (and yes I have that many hehe)

3rd Named in Arcanum zone is still giving us issues with its seemingly random 20K+ damage AOE Spew Bile attack. For some groups, they can just go right up to it on the platform, and kill it with no issue, no Spew Bile attack. For other groups, even with two coercers, nothing can be done to stop the one Spew Bile attack that seems to slip through and wipe everyone. The only thing that seems to be working is having an illusionist in the group, or having a swashbuckler with a dirge/troub. Regardless, that AOE shouldn't insta-kill everyone when it goes off when they have 90%+ crit mit gear.

The client crashes.  I mostly get them in BGs but have gotten them other places.  I havent had a Client Crash in years but every since the update I have gotten 10 or more.  And it screws me out of BG tokens and gives me a truency.  Fix this.

When shard armor was put in TSO it was good stuff. I figured you would have improved the mark armors by now. They are litterally garbage. Half of it is appearance armor and the other half is barely better than mastercrafted gear. Come on. Make it more like the shard armor was for TSO. Atleast in t2 shard armor people could use it in TSO raids. Mark armor is crap.

Also when can you add some kind of player created quest feature, so that guild leaders could create/mod quest for their guilds.

And it would be nice to improve the lfg system.

RE: (Easy Mode)

This encouter seriously needs some teaking and bug fixing.  I'm in full raid gear and still get one shotted.  We have a coercer in the group who keeps silence on the named and he still casts spew bile.  He completely ignores the immunities on Death March, Sanctuary, and Freedom of Mind with his AE stifle, not to mention it's uncurable so you're left praying the tank doesn die.  I don't see the reason behind this name hitting harder the most EPIC encounter AE's.  This name is completely killable....IF you are LUCKY.  No encounter should be luck based.

I must be extremely lucky then, cause I have one pulled him several times. Pulling him back and letting people joust before spew hits. Way back. AE avoids and high dps are handy. I do think the range on it is a bit silly. But as far as it being unmanageable I disagree. It hits every 25-30 seconds, its easily avoided.

In my experience, luck has very little to do with it. Our coercer will just constantly stun / interrupt the entire fight, nothing else, and the Spew Bile never has an opportunity to hit us. Only if the blobs manage to bounce us at just the right time, causing an inopportune interrupt in our own stuns / interrupts, do we get hit by it. Otherwise, just an endurance fight.

Normally we do one-pull it, but for some god aweful reason last night, he was completely ignoring all stuns/stifles.  Perhaps it was a bugged encounter.  I do think it needs to be looked at.

This zone is a challenge. Not un-doable in any sense!

The third name is definantly the hardest in the zone, but with some practice our entire group has our setup, understands the fight and times the aoe's.

With some smart jousting / bubble avoidance, the fight is pretty simple.

Burn name, run away from bubbles, joust the aoe, mob dies.

The loot table needs some fixing. The better cloak for summoners is on the wrong mob, easy mode has the better cloak of the two... if there is going to be changes to this, i would greatly appreciate a heads up because i'm currently farming easy mode now for my cloak.
