Discoveries. This can refer to a couple of different things, but in the context of this post it is referring to the AXP you receive by discovering various points of interest (POI's) throughout different zones in Norrath. The achievment section of your quest journal contains a pretty detailed listing of these POI's. In another context, disco may refer to being the first on your server (or on any server) to loot a particular item, but this is more abaout bragging rights and really has nothing at all to do with AXP.

Somehow the link I wanted to put here doesn't work but one source for DISCOvery locations is eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Category Discovery_Locations there is a colon between Category & Discovery that keeps showing up as a smiley! This one below even has it divided by expansions and zones and you can also keep track of all your discos with your own personal log. There is also a PDF downloadable file of all the discovery locations, too. http://heilig.us/discovery/index.html They each give a set amount of AA if you find them. |

Sure if you want - it ain't much - all I did was do the research for the person who wanted the info. It's easy to find and I just used the search engine in wikia. I'm sure zam has the same information through their search engine, also. I was just lazy and used wiki! LOL |

I would edit your original post and delete anything not having to do with the process of gaining AAs, such as tinkering, adorning, other crafting, racial and grandmaster selections, etc. I don't think you have to get into definitions of acronyms. You already provided a link. If you want - when you describe something such as "Try to get your mc armor....." instead write "Try to get your mc (MasterCrafted) armor..." That way, you avoid duplication. Some areas like L&L you can shorted up by stating about the mob drop of item, and for a list of available L&L ............ then put in the link. You can mention tinker, adorn, transmute, harvest as something one might want to do while working on AAs. Harvest cloak (link) gives AAs. Rares in Harvesting used for crafting - then give link. You can link each word (tinker, adorn, transmute to more info if a person is interested). You can save space by not getting into it because your focus is totally on AAs. The shorter you make your "Guide" the more likely peeps will read it. BTW, Fluffy isn't required. One can use zam or wiki and see all the quests available in zone, etc. Another thing with Fluffy, it tracks everything on all characters on one account, not just one character, so it can be a bit confusing. At least it was to me, so I stopped using it. And one final note: seems peeps have a lot of questions regarding slider usage vs XP, so a short explanation that the % set converts adventure XP into AA. Then give example such as : setting slider at 40% means 40% of all adventure XP earned (mob kill, quest turn in) goes to AA; 60% goes toward adventure XP. I would also note that any quest that gives AA (L&L, book quests, adventure quests, HQs, sig quests, etc) will give AA whether grey or not. However, MOBs with a white star by name indicates killing for the first time will give AA, however, mob must be non-grey. Repeatables only give AA the first time. Those tips should help you in editing. |

Not directly, but indirectly. Harvesting rares so you can get your MC armor made (unless you have a sugar daddy to pay for the armor on broker)! Tinkering makes tools for harvesting to help better your chances for rares; and also for crafting (if interested). Adorning is information you might want to use on your MC gear to add a bit of advantage when fighting mobs while you are garnering your AAs. Some people appreciate the additional information links. If you aren't interested, then you can bypass that information. |

like alvane said not directly. However there are some people who play this way who also want to be self sufficient. And then the extra info about Plus this guide is not only about how to gain AA (everyone can and does that), but how to maximize the AA gain and thus create a whole new game experience. This gamestyle is more about the journey to max level then to reach it as quickly as you can. And then some extra info about transmuting, harvesting, tinkering and adorning can be very worthwhile. And yes if you don't want the info then don't click the links. |

![]() Started a charachter outt his way a few weeks ago and am having alot of fun.. he's currently locked at level 30 with 72AA's. going to try an push through to 100 and then unlock to 42, or I might get lazy and unlock at 85, my origional goal was level times two plus ten, I hit that with the recent double xp weekend so my plan is pretty much out the window right now.. The goal is 120 AA's before level 50 and then a 75%aa/25%xp split until 85 then finish up whatever i'm still lacking. One bit of advice i can give, Don't forget adornments, the low level ones are usually pretty cheap and every little bit helps.

Oh yeah that is great for DPS/Tank classes, but when u trying to do a templar it helps only marginally due to how slowly they kill. AND the game is EverQUEST, quests should reward far more than combat XP could think about rewarding. |

My now '36 'zerker just got her 131AAs and is finishing up her Zek quests. She has done every zone to date for all the AAs, names, disco, HQs, and AA quests including L&L. She had 129AAs at level 32. And yes, adorns are great to add to gear. It's easy as one levels - also transmute and do those adorn writs. If one is going to stay at adventure level for any length of time, then it is advisable to level up primary craft, so one can keep ahead a tier for adorning and muting. If you buy on broker, yeah, the lower levels are cheaper, but the prices start to steeply climb on up. |

Then chronomage your templar and set goals such as work AA quests. If you box, then go after names for each tier, too. Easily done. My defiler (who isn't exactly speedy) is lvl 81, 118AAs working rime faction currently, then still has 3/4 Moors timeline, and all of SF. The character solos frequently and groups on occasion and has done a few raids. It isn't difficult unless you make it so. Just keep focused on what gives AA and work it accordingly. Levatino has an excellent guide. Use it to fit your templar. |

![]() Returned to the game and game across a link to this thread and Im loving it so far. Just got to 10 and set slider to 100%. Have RL stuff to do now but im excited to continue. I came accross a Lore And Legend guide on ZAM that was posted in the articles.-< http://eq2.zam.com/wiki/Lore_and_Le...Hot_Spots_(EQ2) It breaks down the level ranges for them all and gives links to mobs for them. |

My AA count is 210 now, closely to 211. And have lots of quests so it will go up fast. When quests turn yellow I plan to level to lvl 72 for new MC armour. So lots to do, so see you next update |
