![]() would be interesting, but of course theres the issue of hostiles, as high as ^^^ in the city, so thats probably a reason why theres no festival. its simply not accesible to the lowbie crowd |

![]() devs just need to add 2 or 3 more islands of the coast. Far Sea dockyard, reachable by carpet. Guildhall island, access by bell, Maj'dul building texture. 3rd would be dev's future project. |

![]() The suggestions here are exactly the kind of stuff I, and probably many others would like to see. Other than the purple shineys. I haven't had to into any city for the festival, and Freeport's festival was quite a ways from the city gates, so the docks would be a perfect place for it. Yeah the giant would have to be handled differently on those days, but wouldn't it be worth it to a lot of players if the giant didn't wander that close to the docks for 7 days so we could finally get some Sinking sands type gear? It would be to me. |

![]() I would love to see this as well, and it makes sense. It is a major "hub" of civilization and players can live there with a little effort.

![]() I'd like to see a Maj'dul festival as well I also think it would be nice to not have a 6 month schedule, because 6 months would mean that specific cities would always be at the same time of year. For folks who have annual commitments at the same time each year, it would be nice to not always miss the same festival every time. |

There's enough place without KoS mobs in both Maj'Dul and SS for a city festival. Until you reach the palace, mobs aren't KoS (unless you're high enough to have started the Courts quests) A few world/seasonal events send you to Maj'Dul already (Brew Day for ex.) As other said, in SS the area between docks & airship dock has only 1 hostile mob (when he's up) and well as a giant's ghost, he's easy to spot All in all, a MD/SS Festival would be more "low level friendly" than Neriak |

![]() Now that F/Q have been removed as starter cities, I'd see it as a possibility. But, if the distinction of where the faire goes is by those cities of which you can become a citizen, then Maj'dul still doesn't qualify, sadly, since, even though you have to do faction quests in Maj'dul to be able to get a house, you're still a citizen of one of the others. I think it would be interesting to see a Haven festival. |

![]() i doubt we will see a majdul. The idea is for each city festival to happen 2x a year. the more festivals you add the longer wait between a festival coming back. |

![]() how about "annual" like Summer Solstice, it too late to ask for summer festival and we got tinkerfest right around the corner. themed festivals got few gaps in some months. May, June, August, Sept, and Nov. Idea for those. Iron Chef Festival (Nov.), Funland Festival (May- strange fun-house effect, players look odd as gnoll, orc, or droag), Candyland Festival (August, strange landscape of gingerbread village, candies of varied shapes), Summer Solstice (June), and "Wylde Hunt" festival (Sept, special trophy hunter). Funland Festival is where everything get warped, new designed instanced zone where we see upside-down house, most player will play other creature races in specific zones, we can be huge size or tiny as "Alice in wonderland effect", throw more ideas in here, folks June is perfect for Summer Solstice, ideal spot for Maj'dul. August would be cool and fun filled candy goodies in Candyland, it where we see gingerbread village on remote valley, harvest some candy canes, and other sweet stuffs for craftings, cool house item, food buff your skills for limited time. Wild Hunt is the elves's favorite sport, known as "Wylde Hunt", hunt to find prestigious trophies, new wall mounds, or big game trophy stands, safari hunt, and etc. perfect for month of sept. finally, other big event, Iron Chef Festival, lot of cooking games, 3 random judges to keep game fresh and challenging, tips are "ask the audience" for judge's favorites and dislikes, and timed cook event for each menu of 5 types, Entree, salad, Main dish, drinks, and dessert to win hearts of judges, some judges can be celebrities, famous npcs, and of course there will be well known orcs, gnolls, other creatures as judge. this is ideal month for November as "Harvest season" wrap up for winter months. |

![]() It would certainly be nice to have a Maj'Del festival. Bring this city back to life. September would be an ideal month for a festival, representing an end to the summer season. The clothing here is fantastic... and there is great potential for nice house items. On Nagafen, it would be nice to bring back some PvP to this once great zone. Many players have fond memories of how PvP used to be here. Players used to enjoy having a house here but lately the zone seems dead. At least a festival would make returning here once a year something to look forward to. Not every festival needs to be geared towards starter cities and newbie players. A mid-level city festival would be a nice addition. |

![]() All of these are wonderful ideas. I would love to see some life in this city. I also think that since Maj'dul housing is almost hardly used, once your character gets the requirements, a second house there is available. There are many ways to make this work: The broker and vault from original house stays the same, i.e. no new broker or vault. Just a house of how many rooms available there, with the appropriate number of items allowed in the house. But that's just my two pennies! |

![]() I find it strange that you aren't a citizen there and yet you would have your house there. Whereas everywhere else, you have your house where you are a citizen. |

![]() I think the devs are set on having the city festival visit every city twice a year. Adding Maj'Dul into that lineup would screw everything up. They'd have to host it apart from the others. |

![]() make a level 1. take the bell to SS. take the carpet to majdul, dont leave the double doors. festival right there in the entry way.... pretty sure 0 aggro. Would be a cake walk to take a level 1 there.

![]() I also would love to see this as a festival site with items themed from the area. Another idea for a safe location is the fact of how looooooong the dock is. Possibly have the vendors on the dock itself? Or a carpet ride to the festival area? Maybe have it be a replica/mirror of the city or one of the similarly themed zones that doesn't have high lvl ^^^ KoS? Or make mobs level to the one coming in like the Moonlight Enchantment grottos are? Speakingof which.. how come there are no shrooms in the desert? lol |

![]() I had heard that July's festival was Maj'Dul and was SO excited, to find of course it was Gorowyn instead. I really love Maj'Dul and think it's a greatly underutilized area in the game right now. This would help make it relevant again. Or give them their own festival off the chart from the city ones. It has plenty of lore I'm sure. |

![]() I have to agree with the others - Maj Dul is sadly left behind these days. It's a wealth of story, detail, and quests, yet few, if any, people choose to have a house there. I know, it's a pain for some to go there to buy directly, but still... Even if there was no festival on the standard rotation I'd love to see a once a year special event in there or something. |

Well it was never designed to be an actual city for all players to live in. It's story driven for level 50+ characters. You can't start there, you have to earn faction to buy a house to live there- making you KOS to other faction in the process.. Living there was just an added perk of introducing this mystical city that was built by dervishes in the last 500 years. The city itself isn't exactly stable either. People live in constant poverty while the three courts try to run the city their own way, all the while some erudite is actually controlling the city with the help of the Rujarkian Orcs underneath them and a guild of assassins run by Dorn B'Dynn. It's hardly what anyone would consider a stable city to live in, both politically and economically. A special event to highlight Maj'Dul would be a nice thing to see, despite all it's overlapping problems, but putting it into the cycle of city festivals would just throw everything out of wack. |

![]() Maj'Dul has it's own festival, once a year. Nights of The Dead is a Maj'Dul holiday celebrating the time the dead came alive in their city. The story is told at all the festivals, and if you roam the Desert of Ro you can gather the lost pages of a book that tells that story. The holiday has spread to the rest of Norrath since the Desert of Ro was rediscovered.
