Losing key setup / Hot key options are gone

With the introduce of BG ive had this problem that each day i had to set up my hotkeys new when i entered a BG. Some people on the forum said theres a command which lets you save your key binds. Ive done that and it works fine but now i start losing my saved hot keys even for non BGs. I just logged in to have ally my hotkeys reset again. Its kinda annoying and i never had this behavior. Is this a known issue or is there a way to fix it?

Though I have never gone to the Battle Grounds, this has started happening to me too. I noticed it while I was on a gaming laptop while I was out of town and tried to ignore it, since I was in only briefly. I'm home and on my desktop and it's an issue here too. I have to rebind my keys anytime I log in, including switching between characters without exiting the game completely. It's aggravating. :/ 

Here's an attempt at more details:

I use Profit Catalyst UI Mod, which I updated today to see if that might help. I've not had this issue with Profit in the past.

The only key I rebind is for my Auto Run. I bind it to V.

I clear out all other functions that use V. As far as I recall, V is usually for a VIOP window of some kind. I do not use VIOP at all and hitting V after this mysterious unbinding does *not* open the VIOP window.

When I open Options and go to edit my Movement settings, my bind appears to still be set. It just doesn't work.

For a few hours I could bind it to V in the secondary bind slot, hit Accept and it would work unless I swicthed characters or logged out.

Thinking maybe using Save would make a difference, I gave that a try and named the setting profile under an easy to find name. I swicthed characters and my key bind wasn't working again, so I loaded the saved profile. It still didn't work.

Not only did it not work, but I could no longer bind my forward movement to the V key in the secondary slot.

Even altering the .ini files outside of the game does not work. The file scan goes quickly, but I think it may overwrite the keybinds when files are scanned by the launcher.

Happens on all character now. Any Dev any idea what causes this strange behavior ?

try doing what i do when my hotkeys mysteriously dissapear/change on live servers.

there is some eky combination to change the assigned hotbar set on slot 1 (the main hotbar). iirc, hold down shift and press either f1 or just 1 for the first, f2 or 2 for the next, etc. i'm saying "f1 or 1" because i do not remember which it is, it's not both. try that out, if it doesn't work, try all of the change keys (ctrl, shift, alt) with f1-f12 until you find the right combination.

i'd try it myself, but i'm at work atm.

I am not sure if we are talking about the same thing. For example i put next pvp target on the key "Q" which is walk or turn left ingame by default. In 2 years ive never had to re-assign this key, its been always my next pvp target button. Now when i log in it defaults to its reset state which is walk/turn left. And this is pretty annoying because it happens to all keys ASWELL as your hotbar. So its not only the hotbar unfortunaly.

It did start happening in bgs. I didnt mind it happen from time to time. But now i have to do it each time i log in with any character
