when i get into a laggy area (neriak broker, my guild hall..)

My whole computer restarts itself! it ONLY does this for EQ2 ive run other games fine and dosnt do this when i am on the web or anything.

anyone have any idea how to fix this?

If a computer blue screens it is normally a corrupt driver or a hardware issue. Post the information that is displayed on the blue screen when the machine restarts. If the information is not being displayed, right click on Computer (or My Computer) select properties, then advanced settings, look for the system restart selection and remove the click mark from the auotmaticly restart - when the next crash occurs copy trhe information that is displayed on the blue screen to the post

Hmm was on today and the load was medium and it didnt do it when i was in those laggy areas.. so maby i just need to switch to a lower pop server and see what happens, good thing i am only lvl 7! hahaha.

ugh ok so it did it to me again, here is the info

Stop: 0x0000008e (0xc0000005, oxbd11e07b, 0xb227da3c, 0x00000000)

 dont know if this is important but:

nv4-disp.dl address bd11e07b base at bd012000 datestamp 4b0762f0

any ideas? im HORRIBLE at tech stuff!

shows that the crash is occuring in the Nvidia video driver,

1. what Nvidia card are you running?

2. what version driver is currently installed?

3. If you want to bypass the previous questions - try uninstalling your current driver and installing the most current for your video card

i am running driver 195.62

and the card is (i think) geoforce 7600 GS

i updated to the latest driver. lets see how this works =)
