quick server question

i want to go onto a RP server (not that i want to RP, i would if i learned how, but they seem more mature)

anyways, i was wondering about how Lucan D'leres pop is during the day? (morning noon afternoon pretty much random times during the day till about 10pm est)

i know Antonia Bayle is the highest pop but i dont know if i want so many people on. or is that better?

I rolled on Antonia Bayle precisely BECAUSE it has the highest pop. As a completely new player, I really want to be able to find people to play with, and as far as I'm concerned a high pop server gives me more opportunities to do that than a more sparsely-populated server would.

I may be off-base with that assumption, but that's always been my philosophy with MMOs -- low to med pop if I'm rolling with friends, but high pop when I'm playing all by my little lonesome.

that was my assumption too but i hear AB is sooo laggy, and i am not sure if my compy can handle it.

anyojne from LDL can tell me how it is on there?

LDL has a pretty steady population. Obviously there are more folks around after the U.S. work and school day closes, but there's people about any time of day I've ever been on.

This isn't to say that there are people falling all over themselves to get groups. There are people looking for high level instances pretty reliably.

At lower levels, I've rarely had any problems getting a group, but I don't rely on the LFG tool or spamming the channel with "18 monk LFG, PST". Your best bet is to find a guild with people in it near your level who play at the same times you do. If you are putting together a pick up group, then pick a place and take charge of the group formation: "18 monk forming group for Wailing Caves, PST!" works much better.

I would however make a plea that if you are not going to roleplay, you might consider something like Crushbone or one of the other regular ruleset servers. The whole point of a roleplay server is to encourage roleplay.
