Getting this at the moment on Mistmoore.

Is it still the battlegrounds doing this?

Edit - the loading delay is getting longer.  Any word from customer support on what is being done to fix this?

Yeah, here we go again: it's the weekend, there's no customer support access, and the servers (mine's Oasis, of course) are bogging down intolerably again.

I've fattened my post count considerably on this issue alone and I've also /feedbacked this (as I'm sure many have).

At least some acknowledgement of our reports would be nice - and some info on precisely what's being done to correct the problem.

I'm very frustrated and angry right now - getting nine toons through moonlight enchantments today is going to be nothing short of hell.

Thanks guys - I've said it before and I'll keep saying it: what a way to run a railroad.

I'm getting tons of zone issues where it boots me back to the character selection screen and only shows 4 of my characters.  I then have to exit, relog, and hope it works again.

Also... lots of lag spikes.

I clicked the gate into Freeport from Commonlands. I waited at the Receiving Zone Info screen for a bit then I made a cup of tea. I drank most of the tea. I decided I was feeling hungry so I made a ham and mushroom omelette. I ate the omelette.

EQ2 is still "Receiving Zone Info"

Off to wash the dishes up. This gaming lark's such fun! Worth every penny.

Same here on Oasis.. Silly us, my wife and I zoned into a raid instance just to have a look and when we zone out.. nothing..

Now we're on the same track.. Hopefully someone is around to get things going again..

yep, it is horrible on runnyeye.

seemed ok the first 20 minutes i was online. Then i tried to zone into the darklight wood moonlight ench. event zone.

Did that with 2 different accounts at the same time, got stuck at receive zone info. After 10 minutes or more I exited. Since then i can not log in anymore:

- login screen shows only 4 of my toons

- servers seem offline, then after a half minute maybe they appear online but still only 4 of my toons.

- when i then try to log in, i get an error message telling me to rerun the patcher.

I did that 4 times now.

Funny thing is, I can't see anyone chatting but I can still see when someone in the guild loots a legendary/fabled item (using ProfitUI). SMILEY

For me the time it takes to zone is starting to make the game very [Removed for Content], I am starting to wonder if eq2 is really worth the money each month even though I have played since release.

We are not playing the game because we have too, we play because we mostly enjoy it and as it is its not what I call enjoyable. At times its taking 20 mins+ to zone, its not acceptable in my view to have had this problem for a couple of weeks without any fix or feedback from SOE, sort it soe or people will look else where for their gaming fix and who knows we may like what we find and not come back.

I will go on and cancel my station subscription. I will (probably) resub even before the next due date, but i think we all have to send them a message that this is not acceptable.

Cancelling sub takes one click, its reversible (can resub anytime), and if enough players do it, SoE might finally come to their senses and realise thats not the right way to handle this.

The way SoE handled the battlegrounds problem is begining to look like lack of respect for their customers.

Edit: sub cancelled.

Zoning on Guk is 5+ minutes minimum.

Can we please get an extension on the mushroom rings for a day or two, seeing as how I've been able to complete only two on one toon in over an hour?

This proves nothing. Especially when you say you will "probably" resub. They still have your money. If you want to stick it to them you have to stay cancelled.

Is anything being done about this?  Now I can't even log into the game.  Errors about characters missing and so forth, and repeated.

Battlegrounds is a joke. No organization, no thought in the setup. Queue yourself up, get a group with 6 healers, or no healers. No thought on balancing. And what kind of system relies on the login server.

So is your plan to sacrifice the gameplay quality of your raiders and entire player community just to keep BG up for those that want PVP?  If you think you will attact more players to this game just for BG, you're wrong.  If you think you won't lose players over quality of the game environment, you are also very wrong.

Total fail this expansion. I can't believe it took you 18+ months to put together this slop.

Najena server just crashed.

Again, as my earlier post said, this zoning issue is happening on a nightly basis now at this exact time. Now add a server crash on a Saturday night to the long zone times.

Fix this issue, if it's BG then take them offline because this is a terrible problem to deal with when the majority of PvE'ers never even WANTED BG yet it is affecting us on a nightly basis in a negative way. If it's not BG, then please look into this issue anyway because we are paying customers and should be able to log into the game and enjoy ourselves without the constant zoning and crashing problems.

They're flat out gonna be losing customers quite steadily if this keeps up.  Maybe they should be working on the weekends right now considering the ever extending list of problems?  Or is it that it's not in the coding, but lack of capable hardware?  And why don't they tell us?

Customers are repeating themselves over and over yet are consistently ignored....being that they are not responded to which IS being ignored.  We don't know what's going on behind the scenes.  Wether these issues and complaints are or are not heard we ARE being ignored since we don't get any responses.  Horrible service this xpac and I hope it gets fixed and FIXED RIGHT before I end up cancelling my account as well.

Should it ever come to that I'm forced to cancel my account due to poor service and server performance I can guarantee myself and my girlfriend anyways will both cancel and never purchase anything from SOE at any point in the future.  I'm sure we wouldn't be the only ones.

I stated elsewhere that it is probably not BGs. It isn't an issue that is affecting all servers. It hasn't affecting anyone that i know IRL or in game on my server. Thus since it is not a serverwide issue nor a playerwide issue it is likely hard for them to reproduce it in the labs. When something like this is happening to select people/servers it is hard for them to find out exactly what is causing the problem.

I would wager that they are indeed looking into it their communication has just been utterly horrible since the xpac was released.

EDIT: I stand corrected on the first Part, Roth posted in the BG forum that they are throttling the BGs to try and improve DB performance on the servers. Not sure if DB instability causes long load times but.. time will tell. The second part though I was right about they are indeed working on them, communication is indeed utterly horrible still SMILEY

I haven't logged in the game in quite a bit, because every time I do, I end up lagging.

I used to get 20 FPS in Timorous Deep. Now I get a whopping 3. I have a lower end PC, but according to the specs on the box, I'm able to run this game.

This happened with the release of SF/BGs. What the cause of this problem is, I don't know. I don't care. I just want it fixed. And the team is on vacation. Lovely.
