Warning: be prepared to be stripped of gear and other items in your bags if you go into battlegrounds, I returned from the ganak 12 v 12 and was stripped of appearance armor and normal worn armor, lost battleground tokens, void shards, marks of manaar and arad, all my cure potions, signets from status merchant, red slot adornments, paw of opolla, and even random recipes I had in my bags.

Battlegrounds is definitely broken.

This is a pretty rare occurance. Out of 60,000+ transfers to and from battlegrounds we've only seen this happen a handful of times.

We've identified a couple of areas that may cause the problem and will be hotfixing them out soon. Your post makes it sound like this is a very common occurance and may scare people away from trying battlegrounds. I just don't want people to think that is the case. This is a rare issue and if it happens customer service can restore your character.

Rare or not I won't be touching battlegrounds again until there is a guarantee this will not happen again, and caution others to do the same.

my zerker is corrupt on live he is stuck in PVP mode with CA doing less dmg and AA are stuck in PVP mode aswell. check this link : [removed link to Flames -k]

my char keeps bugging out and casting base heal and ward amounts untill he dies.. seems to randomly occur. never seen this before trying BG.. posibly related?

So pretty much we are still entering at our own risk since you currently dont have a fix in and I can possibility lose items and such and have to wait on some GM is who probably backed up with petitions to restore my toon?

It just happened to 7 of my guildies with in 10 minutes myself included.. 3 of my bags missing and then randomly stuff from our missing bags AND house vault/bank starts pouring into our overflows it all happened in the same 3 instances today we're all still missing a TON of stuff... and cant get our overflows cleared to get our house vaults and bank items out and see what damage is done

SO this is an extremely rare occurance is it?Then WHY did it happen to 4 members of my guild today?Yeah, doens't seem to be so rare at all.How about we not introduce things into the game which just screw everything up next time?Novel idea around here, I know, but maybe try it out sometime shall we?

I've only played BG like 4 times and one on those 4 my Research Assistant got reset - lost 9 days of research - and on my latest try, my main is now stuck in limbo. A 50% fail rate is not encouraging.

I won't be going to the battlegrounds any time soon.

People have lost Adventure XP, AA levels, Tradeskill XP, gear, banked items, basically anything you can think of mentioning.

Lag on live servers is worse than it has ever been. Today you cannot even use the broker.

Whats great is the CS team is doing nothing but BG petitions now.

Any of us with other issues are SoL, especially since they keep coming up with new BG issues to petition over.

My 3rd and 4th bag slot disappeared after leaving a ganak instance. Had a few things in overflow, but not all of them. I too have petitioned it and not gotten a response as of yet. Been about 5 hrs for me at the moment. Luckily i didn't lose anything i was currently using.

PLEASE fix battlegrounds before it just becomes a joke. I have soooo much fun there would hate to lose it...or any more gear/equipment. I'm assuming tomorrow they will get to my petition and be able to restore my bags w/items in them. Until then I'm stuck with just pve now...BOOOO!!

This problem has still not been fixed. Just exited a Battle Ground to find a TON of bag slots now empty. Have lost everything from Battle Grouond Tokens, Red Adornment Seals, Weapons, Pots, crafting components, gear I had physically equipped...

Just left battlegrounds and most bank slots, bags and inventory items are all in my overflow slot. Sent in a petition. We'll see how fast CS is to fix this (hope this gets fixed before raid)

Update: Went back to check on my toon that this happened to and now everything is gone (presumably in my overflow). Something must be major screwy with my toon if stuff continued to be placed in overflow even after I left BG.

A warning: if they offer to roll back your toon to fix the issues, keep the following in mind:

* the roll back might be to a time much earlier than when the problem occurred

* anything you obtained since the last save point will be lost

* anything you remove from guild banks or shared banks will be lost

* any plat your remove from the broker or shared banks will be lost

So, if you removed anything from shared banks, including plat, and you don't want to lose them, put them back! I was roll backed recently, and I forgot that I took some plat from my shared bank prior to the time the problem occurred (but after the save point). When I logged back in, my toon was restored to the time before I removed the plat (hence no plat on my toon), but my shared bank was not rolled back (hence no plat in the shared bank either!). I lost 5,800 plat, which a GM had to restore after manually searching my bank logs! Don't let this happen to you.

Lost all my gear last night after a Ganak 12v12 round. A friend from my server and I were stuck after the session ended, couldn't log out, couldn't camp ect... Finally had to CNTL-ALT-DEL to get out of it. When I returned, everything was gone exccept the $$ on my charcter and the trophy from Ganak. Strangely, while my warg mount drum was GONE, I still had my mount.

Sent my petition in last night, no response yet (even the automated one saying that got my petition). Tried to send another this morning, but said they are still working on a previous petition.

Yeah I have a raid tomorrow night too, sure hoping they get this fixed before then.

Needless to say, I'm going to be staying WELL AWAY from Battlegrounds from now on!

Just had this happen to my character Wisty last night... did a klak'anon 6 vs. 6 and came back to find almost all my equipped gear gone as well as many items from my inventory, and even my bank. This includes hard-earned raid and instanced gear, LoN/SC trinkets, quested items, all the battlegrounds tokens I was saving up, seals of arad I had just gotten from raiding... even the furniture stash I had in the bank. Needless to say, I am absolutely horrified by this. I sent a petition last night (going on almost 12 hours ago), but no response yet, and from the sounds of it, a lot of petitions aren't getting responses right now. From what I have seen here, it seems I have to wait on a rollback to who knows when, and until then I can't play at all or join my friends in anything cause I'll just lose what I've done. Raid night tonight in my guild as well, so unless this is fixed soon I guess I am the one who misses out.

Been playing EQ2 since almost day one, and never have I been so horrendously disappointed in the game. I seriously wanna go have a cry.

Hope no one else has to run into this. Don't think I wanna play Battlegrounds again anytime soon, and it's a shame cause I really was having fun with it before this.

I ran into this last night as well - same story ... half my equipped gear and at least half my bank in my overflow slot. Petitioned and have yet to receive a response.

Even called Customer Support and was informed that it could be up to 72 hours due to backlog to get a response.

A shame, I was enjoying the battlegrounds but considering I just lost a year's worth of progression gear plus any drops my guild might get in the next night or two of raiding, it's just not worth it.

I'm assuming tomorrow they will get to my petition and be able to restore my bags w/items in them. Until then I'm stuck with just pve now...BOOOO!!

Cherrylime Loremaster Join Date: Dec 2004 Posts: 22	This problem has still not been fixed. Just exited a Battle Ground to find a TON of bag slots now empty. Have lost everything from Battle Grouond Tokens, Red Adornment Seals, Weapons, Pots, crafting components, gear I had physically equipped...

Ventisly Loremaster Join Date: Feb 2005 Posts: 223	Just left battlegrounds and most bank slots, bags and inventory items are all in my overflow slot. Sent in a petition. We'll see how fast CS is to fix this (hope this gets fixed before raid) Update: Went back to check on my toon that this happened to and now everything is gone (presumably in my overflow). Something must be major screwy with my toon if stuff continued to be placed in overflow even after I left BG. __________________

Itsey Server: Everfrost Guild: Advocatus Diaboli Rank: Raider: Alpha Main Loremaster Join Date: Feb 2005 Posts: 68	A warning: if they offer to roll back your toon to fix the issues, keep the following in mind: * the roll back might be to a time much earlier than when the problem occurred * anything you obtained since the last save point will be lost * anything you remove from guild banks or shared banks will be lost * any plat your remove from the broker or shared banks will be lost So, if you removed anything from shared banks, including plat, and you don't want to lose them, put them back! I was roll backed recently, and I forgot that I took some plat from my shared bank prior to the time the problem occurred (but after the save point). When I logged back in, my toon was restored to the time before I removed the plat (hence no plat on my toon), but my shared bank was not rolled back (hence no plat in the shared bank either!). I lost 5,800 plat, which a GM had to restore after manually searching my bank logs! Don't let this happen to you. __________________

A friend from my server and I were stuck after the session ended, couldn't log out, couldn't camp ect... Finally had to CNTL-ALT-DEL to get out of it. When I returned, everything was gone exccept the $$ on my charcter and the trophy from Ganak. Strangely, while my warg mount drum was GONE, I still had my mount. Sent my petition in last night, no response yet (even the automated one saying that got my petition). Tried to send another this morning, but said they are still working on a previous petition. Yeah I have a raid tomorrow night too, sure hoping they get this fixed before then. Needless to say, I'm going to be staying WELL AWAY from Battlegrounds from now on!

Lynetha Loremaster Join Date: Dec 2004 Posts: 59	Just had this happen to my character Wisty last night... did a klak'anon 6 vs. 6 and came back to find almost all my equipped gear gone as well as many items from my inventory, and even my bank. This includes hard-earned raid and instanced gear, LoN/SC trinkets, quested items, all the battlegrounds tokens I was saving up, seals of arad I had just gotten from raiding... even the furniture stash I had in the bank. Needless to say, I am absolutely horrified by this. I sent a petition last night (going on almost 12 hours ago), but no response yet, and from the sounds of it, a lot of petitions aren't getting responses right now. From what I have seen here, it seems I have to wait on a rollback to who knows when, and until then I can't play at all or join my friends in anything cause I'll just lose what I've done. Raid night tonight in my guild as well, so unless this is fixed soon I guess I am the one who misses out. Been playing EQ2 since almost day one, and never have I been so horrendously disappointed in the game. I seriously wanna go have a cry. Hope no one else has to run into this. Don't think I wanna play Battlegrounds again anytime soon, and it's a shame cause I really was having fun with it before this. /sniffle ~Wisty of Najena Server

Avanna Loremaster Join Date: May 2007 Posts: 2	I ran into this last night as well - same story ... half my equipped gear and at least half my bank in my overflow slot. Petitioned and have yet to receive a response. Even called Customer Support and was informed that it could be up to 72 hours due to backlog to get a response. A shame, I was enjoying the battlegrounds but considering I just lost a year's worth of progression gear plus any drops my guild might get in the next night or two of raiding, it's just not worth it.
