![]() the last time I logged in was early October, and everything was fine... I just updated, and logged in for the first time since then, and the game will not load in fullscreen. it crashes immediately back to desktop after one second of loading. if i am ingame in windowed mode and attempt to click the checkbox for fullscreen - same thing. crash to desktop. I tried reverting my drivers to the 186 version, but that put my display in a permanent 800X600 resolution, so had to re-update. using the same computer i was using before when everything worked. amd athlon 64 x2 dual core processor 2.11 ghz 1.75gb ram realtek high def audio Windows XP Home OS |

![]() I was running in fullscreen fine two days ago - but had weird sound stuttering and skipping issues instead. no idea what is going on, ran everything fine a month ago. |

What graphics card are you using with that computer? The 186 version certainly shouldn't force your screen into a 800x600 resolution. Are you fairly confident with computers? If so, you might want to try installing the newer 195 beta drivers instead.

![]() No - I know next to nothing about computers. I am using an nVidia geforce 6100 nforce 405 - which worked just fine last time I was in EQ2. |

![]() I think we're talking about this issue in multiple threads at once. Please keep this issue in one thread so that we do not recommend the same step multiple times. Here's the response I just posted in the other thread: Did you completely uninstall the previous drivers before installing the 186 version? The problem you're describing here definitely isn't normal and indicates a deeper issue. Conflicting driver files seem like the most likely possibility so lets check that first. Please let me know how you uninstalled your current drivers before going back to v186
