Well, the wrist just got updated on test. Currently it has gained 3 spell crit bonus, the rest is unchanged.

Well atleast that makes it an upgrade from 1group able raid content. LOL

I don't see what the complaint is about. 6 crit, 3 crit bonus, 4 hostile reuse, this combination is HUGE for a single item.

Im happy with the changes.

I asked for some crit bonus and thats what I got.

A nice proc would have been sweet but something is a whole lot better than nothing. SMILEY

You like having a raid obtained drop give your pet a buff with stats only useful for soloing?  I'd be fine with the item if they just changed the parry and defense to physical mit or more magic resists since those are actually useful in raiding.

Yea...just about anything is better than that pet buff on it. Ideally it would have a proc in similar flavor to his other drops but that doesnt look like it will happen.

Put me down as one more person that not only thinks the pet effect is useless but believes it needs a  proc, preferably a power proc.

Where is the mage gear this xpac with mana procs FFS?  Whoever designed these raid encounters seems to think power drains are NEAT!  I mean they are everywhere, from mana drain ae's to reactive power drains.  Do the devs that create these encounters play enchanters ffs?  My guildmates did a raid on the new x4 zone coming out with the next GU this past week on Test, and low and behold.. the *first* mob is another blue bar nightmare of an encounter.  Maybe its because the chanters in my guild aren't so uber or the fact that we can't always get 4 of them on a raid..but I'm always out of power.  Every piece of power proccing equipment I have  is last tier or legendary with crap for stats.  I can already think of 2 raid dropped TSO pieces healers can get (kultak neck..belt off of..zarrakon?) with power procs on them.  Scouts can use poisons, where is the mage love ffs..we don't ALL play enchanters with endless power pools.

So either catch up with the itemization or talk to your buddy's down there creating these raid encounters and clue them in that the way to make people not scream and moan about needing so [Removed for Content] many utility classes like chanters for a successfull raid..is to ease up on the [Removed for Content] power drains,

Not even chanters are immune to the issue of power drain mobs if they are unlucky. The major problem I think probably stems from the fact that as our gear has gotten better, we have gotten more power per piece...while at the same time all mob power drain effects are a percentage while power returns/procs are a static number...sooo the better geared/more power you have the more you actually will have to regain when being drained due to the static regen numbers.

You would've thought they'd have learned that percentage based anythings are stupid back when they nerfed all the charmable pets that had these effects. Seriously, I want a -5000 power item please.

My problem is that mages are missing instanced itemization for several effect types in TSO.

There are still no heal or power proc items for mages at all, still no items that proc control effect immunity (though only fighters have an instanced item that does this, to be fair) and we are still missing a x4 instance dropped item with the preperation effect.

It seems so obvious that this item should have a damage/heal proc on it - all you need to do is look at the Bloodquench and blood Symphony effects on items that he also drops.
