![]() When you click a DEV reply from the Developer Tracker page, it will more often than not take you to a page that has NO developer response on it. Most often the actual reply is on the preceeding or proceeding page, but occassionally the reply is simply NOwhere to be found, within multiple pages. This is particularly common in threads with more than one developer reply made by the same developer within a 24-hour period. It has been this way for months and is detrimental to the reading of important information -- I'm sure most people aren't spending 5-10 minutes looking for an elusive developer reply, although it may be the ONE reply which answers many of their questions. Can we please fix this? Thanks Ara |

![]() Seconded I really used to love readign dev responses and getting to them in an instant. Now it's un-reliable as to where you will land when clicking on the link. Sometimes you get the dev post, sometimes your a page or more away from it. |

![]() That issue has been really, really annoying me for the past months. Remind me again why SOE felt the need to write their own forum software instead of using Lithium or vBulletin like the rest of the corporate world does? It's not even just about the missing features, it's about the forum software simply not working properly. Even open sourced software gets faster bugfixes than this. Anyone knows when was the last time they updated the forum software? |

![]() Unfortunately, this seems to be a Sony-wide problem. I know the SWG forums have the same problem. Although maybe that would get it fixed faster, since it affects all of their games. And it's not just dev posts; I get the same sometimes linking to my own posts from my profile. Something about the calculation of what page to put you on for a specific post isn't right. ![]() I thought it was just me who had this problem. This is really annoying. It would be VERY nice to have this solved. |

![]() Is this ever going to be addressed? It seems to be in the same boat as the difficulty the forums have with calculating the correct page numbers in a post. This is so anoying and the bug has been around forever. Does anyone actually maintain these forums? Fendaria |

Sometimes I wonder the same thing, Fendaria. I honestly haven't seen any of the ancient bugs on their "custom" forums fixed in ages. I think they need to take a leaf from the EQ2players change... and get some official SOE redname web devs working on it in-house and tracking issues here. I imagine since the volume is relatively huge they have to use some kind of caching, which is the reason the forum view doesn't update with page-# links until things hit 3-4 pages. That caching is probably the same reason you click on what you think is the last page or the most recent post... and don't see anything new! If you want to see the new posts you either have to manually increase the &start= parameter in the URL (which basiaclly changes the pagination) or wait until enough new posts are there that it adds the new page #. |

![]() Oh, and on the off change there IS actually someone out there working on forum issues... One of the pagination issues occurs when the newest post would be the first one of the next page. The new page # does not get updated either on the forum view OR in the thread view, meaning it looks like nothing else is there... but if you increase the ?start= parameter by even just 1 you will see the new post |

![]() Agreed. Please fix these forums so that when someone clicks on a dev post, it opens that specific post. I do not understand why SOE uses third-party companies to develop what should be in-house applications, or why SOE accepts sub-standard work from them. Another example: The poorly designed /survey that was posted this month. |
