Actually, I have the same problem and Hurricane was the CA/spell I had the research assistant upgrade. I got the in-game mail, visited the same researcher I requested the upgrade from and there is no upgrade or scribe button available.

Additional details which may help in debugging:

I researched at my guild hall RA, & went to the same RA to attempt to retrieve the Master.
Default UI.
Good (Qeynos) character, evil guild.
T8 CA (one of the swash AoE ones for that tier, forget which atm - at work).

Logged in and got the email. Mine magically worked. Didn't even have to petition! Hurray!! It says pickup at the bottom where you usually click the button "Start Researching" everything worked though. Just a weird fluke.

Same issue with level 76 spell Perfection of the Maestro on my troubador.

Research done, got mail, RA dude wont give me anything but has the same spell as a research option with 28 days remaining

I also have recieved the mail from the RA saying that my spell was completed but have nothing waiting for me when I go to them. My wife had no problems getting her spell and is onto her second researching effort.

So now I sit and wait for the /bug and /petition and dont have my spell. I'm also wasting time on getting the next spell started from them.

Figure that the time to get it fixed should be about the same amount that it took the RA to research the spell in the first place... /holding breath until I turn blue.

Mine was a level 79 spell and I used the Gorowyn Research Assistant to assign it and then used the Gorowyn Research Assistant to pick it up. When I could not pick it up from the Gorowyn Research Assistant, I went to Freeport (Beggar's Court; since my guild is set in Gorowyn, but my character call-to-city is set to Freeport) to try to pick it up and was unable to. That's when I disabled ProfitUI and I was unable to pick it up from the Freeport Research Assistant (Beggar's Court).

So, it looks like location may not matter. But the big question in my mind right now is... can I get started on the next spell while this is being researched by the Dev team, or do I need to wait until the pick up is sorted before I can start on the next one?

Happened to me also, level 79 defiler spell Carrion Warding. I got the mail, deleted the mail and went to pick up the spell. No option for pickup, no research in progress, carrion warding available in list to research for another 29 days. Petitioned and bugged it, been waiting in game 90 minutes or so with no reply from CS or GM.

Add another frustrated customer to the list...happened to me as well. 28 days shot on a lvl 74 Persona Reflection spell for my Illy...

Everything worked fine for me on the 8 or 9 low level spells I used the RA on. Have another week to go on my very last spell and then I'll have all 149. I used the Big Bend RA and have gone back there every time I had one to pick up.

The spell was Vital Intercession Vii (Master)

I had started researching if from the guild hall Research Assistant.

I received the in game mail - I tried to pick it up from the guild hall Research Assistant.

I"m not overly worried about the issue getting addressed. I'm sure it's gonna be a mess and need sorting, but they'll get it . What I would like to know is if it's ok to start another one SMILEY While I wait is alllll SMILEY

i lost mine as well, undead knight VII. level 77 spell. 29 days compleatly wasted. can CS give the spell or am i screwd over for another month?

and do i have to still be online to be granted the spell by CS if they can grant the master?

No biggy...I was just trying it out with an Adept spell to see how it works. Since it seems it doesn't work as intended I doubt I will use it for a while...

Boy howdy. Glad I'm not in CS at the moment.

Add me to the growing list of players whose upgrades were "due" today but didn't come. I got the mail, but no option to scribe and Ancient Shroud VII is back on the list as if I can start it over. Tried Profit UI, then default. No difference.

I was thinking the alignment noted above might be an issue, but I started the research with the RA in my home town of Neriak and went to claim it from the same RA, so that's not it.

Yep, same thing with me. Got mail, went to pick it up, nothing there and had the option to scribe the same thing i was having researched. Swashbuckler offensive stance, Daring Advance VI. Hope it gets fixed and don't have to research it again.

Thanks for PM'ing me the information, I have enough to go on and it looks like we've found the problem.

If you experienced this problem, please go ahead and make a petition. We have logs that will verify completion of the research and Customer Service should reimburse the upgrade.

We will hotfix this bug asap. In the meantime, if you're researching a spell you might want to hold off on claiming it to avoid having to go through the petition process.

We'll take care of this as quickly as possible and we apologize for the inconvenience.

What is/was the issue? Some people in guild have gotten multiple masters while others bugged out on first one like me.

Even though it's too late for most by the time they notice this thread - I was able to pick up my Fusion II Master when I sat at the window, watching the timer drain. A "pickup" button appeared after the timer emptied, and it gave me mine.

Not entirely sure it will work that way for everyone else repeating what I did.
