![]() Ok... I searched the forums and I didn't fiond anyone asking this question (and yes I really looked thru a lot of threads to find out if it was there...) so I'll ask it myself. I have a several alts (one Freep, one Hater, and a Gorowynian) who are going to betray to Qeynos and I was curious what that would do to: a) their rep with Gorowyn, which I don't want to screw up, b) their rep with Kelethian, which I do want to gain, and c) If betraying directly to Qeynos isn't going to gain Kele rep, can I gain citizenship in Kele and immigrate to Qeynos and achieve the same effect? Thanx in advance for the help. Oh, and the Gorowynian? Yeah, he doesn't want to lose faction with his home town. I know he has to immigrate to Neriak or Freeport and betray those, which is what a) is all about. Thanx again. |

![]() Probably the best overall guide to changing city alliegance and citizenships and what it means in terms of betrayals and faction quests is at the EQ2i Citizenship article.

Yeah, went there, in fact I have the information up for doing this, but it doesn't answer the questions I actually posed. I did find out, thought, from my guild in-game that your rep with the other city in that faction (good/evil) is restored to amiable when you gain full citizenship. I also found out that Gorowyn will NOT reject you after you betray Freeport, and you can keep your house in Gorowyn when to immigrate to Freeport, so I won't lose my house while I'm betraying the Overlord (yea!). So I got the answers to all my questions in-game. The online resources for this game are extensive, but extremely dated, given how much even things like this have changed since they were started. |

![]() Things to note if youre keeping your house in Gorowyn, if you change your citizenship, your call spell will no longer take you to Gorowyn, it will take you to your new city, you can decide where your calls takes you, but only within the city boundaries of where you are a citizen (for Freeport and Qeynos that includes their suburbs). |

EQ2i is a wiki, so if you have a moment, maybe you might add your observations in the Discussion page for the article to help others? It's only as up-to-date as the people volunteering make it.

I almost never use my Call of (X) ability. It's a crutch, and doesn't seem very IC to me. I play on a RP server, of course, and I prefer ro fly, port or bell wherever I need to go, even if it takes me more time to get there. But thank you for making that notation. I think others might find it useful when they search this thread out. |

![]() You lost me on the bells and teleport. For RP purposes I can see not doing the Call. And flying the Griffin is a little far-fetched. (Although come to think of it, when was the last time we popped off a Fireball IRL?) But if you can toss a Fireball, a Teleport/Druid Circle is no worse. Using the Bells is like getting on a bus or taxi-boat. It just doesn't show all of the graphics involved. Which, considering the spell effects of teleportation, is probably a good thing.
