![]() Not sure if this is the right forum, but the items in question are player crafted so posting it here. I placed the Di'Zok Honor Banner and the Sathirian Honor Banner in my wife's 5 room status/coin house at 4 Bayle Court in South Qeynos and the rent reduction didn't change. The rent reduction showing on the /house window stayed at 25.0% (claimed treasure hoard) and the rent amount stayed at 14g51s52c. I then went to my 3 room coin only house at 17 Tranquil Way in South Qeynos and placed the 2 banners and the coin reduction went from 25.0% to 25.6% and the rent was reduced from 5g80s86c to 5g76s21c. Is this a /bug or do the honor banners not work in the status houses? Thanks. |

![]() Not sure about honor banners but I know for sure that you can't get a rent reduction from your own veteran award chest if it is placed in someone else's house, whether or not you are trustee. It will only work in your own house. |

![]() We did a little experiement today to test this. My husband place both of them in my 4 Bayle house and they did not reduce coin cost, he then traded them to me and I placed them myself and the coin reduction did apply. My guess is that it is a carryover coding problem from the treasure hoards that are claimed or something along those lines. But whatever the reasons you must place coin reduction items in your own house for them to take effect even if they are not claimed or notrade items. They work on all houses but they must be placed by the house owner. It's a minor thing which is easily remedied by having the owner place the items so I am not sure it would be changed, at least not soon. |

![]() Sounds like a good one to submit as a /bug if you haven't already. As you say, doesn't sound hugely urgent, but might be something the code team can check into when time permits. |

![]() Somewhat related.. yet.. not.. Is there a house with more than a 500 item limit? I've had the 5 bedroom in Freeport since the beginning of 2005, and.. well.. it's full. Completely full. Actual item count: 580/500. Mostly from just quest rewards! Do any houses have a higher item limit? If not, maybe we need one! |

There is not a house with a higher count, but there is a carpenter item that adds 100 item slots to your total when applied to your current house. So your house goes from 500 to 600 possible items. Of course, now I can't remember the name of the item, but I'm sure someone else knows it. |

It's from one of the special faction recipes from one of the Kunark places. I could give a definitive answer, but EQ2 Trader's hosting site has bungled their database at the moment |

You need the house expander that is actually made by sages - it's one of the kunark faction recipes. The one that is made by carpenters is actually a vault expander so that you can increase a 5 vault house to a 6. They won't increase beyond 6 slots so no use if your house already has 6 vaults. And no, I can't remember the exact names either
