Wow, nice item, I can't think of any other item I've seen that can do 10,350 to 12,636dmg per proc.  Heck, even if the healer can't find the time to slip in a melee hit or fast casting dmg spell that's still 10,530dmg on the high end.

If it does proc it should be really obvious I'd think, so if you aren't seeing it then I'd have to say it almost definately isn't proccing.

Avatar loot

the problem is, the effect only triggers off melee attacks... but it should proc off ANY attack, just like it is described on the item!

its definately buggy.

While I feel for you and hope that it gets changed, rangers have know that when a weapon says any sucessful attack, it really means, any sucessful attack that actually uses this weapon.  If they changed this for you they would have to make all melee weapons proc on ranged AA and ranged CAs also, and I honestly don't seem them doing that.

i dont wnat it to be changed i want it to be fixed... on any attacks does not mean just on melee attacks (e.g. Troub Mythical)

...on a successful attack is the phrase you refer to

  • The proc text on Ripper’s Stiletto now more clearly states that it triggers only from attacks made with that weapon.
  • From a previous set of test update notes... it stated any attack before... I suspect that this is going to be a similar case.

hopefully they will not change it like that.

it makes no sense for a hybrid class like bards, e.g. they are changing the ethernaut reward which shall proc on any attacks, not only hostile.

for the effect Uplifting Concerto, is it 3 triggers total for the group or 3 triggers for each group member?

also why did bards get shafted with a low top end on the melee part of the weapon?

the enchanted warmaster dagger is getting increased to 384, is this getting upgraded at all?

--- and on topic, yeah it should proc off any type of attack to be even somewhat useful

To fix this they should make it buff the self-buff of the bard with this buff.  This would solve any procing issue of it being in the offhand instead of mainhand(which I bet if you use it mainhand it'd work just fine).

sounds like the perfect fix for the proc... now to just fix the weapon

    Is this being looked at?

This bug turns this item into a doorstop, especially on ranged fights.

Pretty sure, when i had the wrong idea about main hand / off hand proc ratios,(which pinski courtesly explained was wrong;p) was seeing nearly 3x's as many main hand procs to off hand procs, the reason being was off hand only checks on melee auto attacks to trigger its proc, where as main hand checks everything (auto/ca/spell)for its proc chance.

Have any of you acutally tried it main hand and casted spells at a training dummy?

thats a bit of a bummer, but even if they fix it, so it does proc correctly in main hand, it still wont in your off hand, are you really going to use it main hand over your mythical?

this item is fixed, when its proc triggers of ANY attack (not just on meleehits) no matter of mainhand or offhand

unless they changed the off hand proc mechanic's, it wont matter it its working or not. check your act on a few zw's your main hand n0 or procs should be 3x's as high as your off hand procs.

Fixed internally. I'll try to slip it into the next hotfix.
