End Game, End Game, End Game...

That's all anyone is focused on.  So I took it on myself to explore all of what Norrath has to offer on a brand new Fury.  So far I'm having a blast.  The ability to turn off quest experience has made it a great experience.  Never did I know there's so many unique items that can be found across Norrath!  Tonight I'm starting Antonica Questlines and going to explore the area deeper.  So far zones I have ran through....

Dark Light Wood

Commonlands

Timorous Deep

Graveyard

Ruins

Sunken City

Sprawl

So far it's been quite the quest journey.  I havn't completed all the questlines in every zone yet and I'm at level 17 with 25AA's and 250+ quests under my belt.  He's a 20 woodworker and 100/100 tinkering.

You don't realize the vast expanse of this game until you really start pouring through these zones.  Intresting lore and all.

So here's what I'm doing for the Fury community and any other class who's trying to optimize AA for whatever reason, be it AA or just leveling quickly...

I'm writing a step by step leveling and questing guide to optimize your playing style.  Wether get to 80 as fast as possible or just enjoy the game, whatever that may be, this will be an all in one guide.  This is to also help those not so good at pvp and want to get a toon that can stand to take a beating and help stimulate Vox.

The goal here is to help people.

The first publication will come early January when I finish the 1-20 zones.  Hope to see you all soon and I'll keep giving you all feedback on my progress.

This is my first toon, and I really enjoyed the low level zones.

My friend who's been playing EQ2 for years has been rushing me along, 'hurry hurry get to the next tier thats where all the content is', then we get there and he says the same again!

I managed to do quite a few of the 1-20 zones, but have been on fast track since then and I do feel like I've missed loads of stuff out - some zones I've barely even seen.

I've rolled an alt (bruiser) and am going to take my time with him, plod through the low levels and maximise AA.

Look forward to reading your guide   SMILEY

I agree with you completely...

I am not sure when this big shift happened... but there seems to be such a huge focus on the END GAME... BAH!!!

Maybe it is folks coming to EQ from other games... I do not think it has always been theis way...

I am all about enjoying the game... I played EQ1 from launch and EQ2 from right after launch... I have never had a max character... I suppose I may have one someday... I do have a level 61 Inquisitor...

I have been doing the level lock as wqell and doing alot of lowbie zones... I have a few friends that do it as well and we do little raids into zones like Fallen Gate and the like... Great fun!!

Keep up the good work... Look forward to reading your guide...

Peace

Life is a journey... not a destination... =)

Yea, if you want to get the most AA for your toon early turning off both works well. You still get AA (up to 1.5 times your level) and can do the content at the level it was designed to be done instead of mentoring down and destroying everything in pretty much god mode.

I find it a much more enjoyable experience that way.

But seriously, you're the kind of guy that zones into gears without a healer and spends the whole match talking about the fact there isn't a healer instead of contributing. I hate you, and everyone like you that plays this game. Please spend less time whining and more time winning, it contributes to the general growth of the game and makes gameplay more enjoyable for all.
