im getting kicked to char select on zone quite often, and also having trouble with the patcher itself after logging back in, where it says the request timed out or some such nonsense when i try to log back in.

last night, i got kicked to char select on zoning twice, and both times logging back in i had that same issue with the patcher, and only restarting the patcher fixed the issue with the patcher. the second time i got kicked to char select, and i could not reconnect untill i exited the game, i had to run the patcher THREE times before it would log my account in properly.

im just curious if anyone else is noticing these issues since the last patch.

Sounds like internet issues, if the problem persists would look at your firewall and reseting your broadband modem, but it may just be out on the net and beyond your control. have you run tracerts and pathpings to the server?

Greetings,The problem you're describing sounds like a router issue.  I would advise bypassing your router and plugging your computer directly into the modem as a first step.  If you try that and it corrects your issue then you'll need to configure your router if you wish to continue using it.The following site has great information about router configuration:http://www.portforward.com/english/...routerindex.htmSimply select the router you are using then select Everquest 2 on the next page.  You will then be presented with a walkthrough on how to forward the correct ports.  Please respond if you need any further assistance.
