Getting EQ2 dropping me to desktop while playing.

Error in event log is as follows:

There are a couple of threads about crashing since launch on here. No fix yet afaik.

Some people are reporting improvement by either running in max performance mode or disabling multi-core support within the game. Others report no change after doing either or both.

Post your info on the thread being tracked by the Devs in the general gameplay.  Thread name is 'Crashing', about 8 pages so far.

For what its worth this morning prior to server downage I played for just under 2 hours by changing performance settings to extreme performance, running in fullscreen mode, and disableing multi-core.  Couldn't stay on long enough to verify that it is an effective workaround, but worth a shot.  Post updates in other thread.
