![]() I (and many many others) are getting extremely frustrated by the lack of ANY dev response on the current fame sytem which is ruining pvp. Could an influential developer PLEASE pm me with what the future holds for the pvp system and give their thoughts on the much proposed fame decay system which would undoubtedly in many minds be the ideal fix. You say you respect the communities opinions? PLEASE pm me and tell me your thoughts.. Galoro Nagafen.

![]() Something I've noticed that seems kinda crappy is why some of the most cool looking weapons and shields are the crappiest, crap, SOE could give us to vendor trash? And why some of the better stuff is just kinda drab, and no very original looking. This does not include epic/mythical weapons of course. But have just noticed alot of cool looking stuff just being junk. Switch it with the legendary items, and make the vendor trash be the dull looking items instead. |

![]() What bugs me is having characters languishing on a PvP server I no longer play on that I would like to play on a PvE server. I really wish they would open up PvP to PvE transfers, even if the transfer results in moving naked and broke. |

![]() I searched the thread for the word "Froglok" and nothing came up. Cloaks and Frogloks . . . . . especially on horseback, or when crafting. Anytime, really, but it's awful-looking. The way it drapes from the neck over the back or hump of the back, I know once one gets to the more free-flowing part of a cloak most everyone has graphical issues (such as weapons or tails or wings poking through . . . ) But at least for the initial start of the cloak, yes I know it would take some work but Frogloks are such a beautiful race to play, and this issue really interferes with that in a way that's different than a weapon sticking (slicing eep go see your tailor . . . . ha ha) through the cloak. I haven't seen the original thread asking for issues so maybe it was mentioned. I just had to croak up for the Froggies. Also, this next issue is a bit embarrassing to mention (I'm a girl irl, a SAHM stay at home mom, so you know my maturity level btw) but when my Kerra got her first horse, and I started riding, as viewed from the side it, er, struck me in one way as uh a bit obscene, the way the tail of the Kerra goes as she rides, the bit that shows anyway. Not that it IS obscene, it just hit me that way, that day. Ahem, sorry for that, told ya it was embarrasing. I know tails and horses are difficult to get around, anyway. I'm not that kinda Kerra, er, person. The first time my Iksar got on a horse, well, her tail made it look like the horse had to pee. To put it one way. Because the tail came all the way down and through the horse and below its belly. Sometimes it shows, now, sometimes not, less often now. Being able to ride a horse or mount in some illusion forms . . . . . I captured a most EXCELLENT screenshot that I need to put up, of my Iksar with the Sathirian Curse from LON on, within 10 seconds after calling her mount, she was astride the horse in illusion form. Perhaps it's because the illusion matched her bone structure, but I caught it! And boy, was it AWESOME!!!! It was WICKED cool!!! Would probably cut down on drag, too . . . (wind whistlin' thru the ribcage . . .). In vampire illusion form would be great too, it's humanoid . . . . and it seems silly that you just stand there with no /wave, no anything like that, like you are just a, well, um, computer thing that can't do anything. With several different ways to obtain a vampire illusion, it would be much appreciated to have something thought about as far as at least having a set of emotes work with them, even better if we could ride mounts in that form . . . just a thought about the annoyances. Thanks for your time. |

![]() I don't know if it is too late to add something. But I have to second the LoN thing. I understand a lot of people enjoy it but there are a lot of us that don't. Please make it an optional download in the user interface. I am tired of waiting to download LoN stuff when I don't play the game. Otherwise great job, I really appreciate what you guys are doing. |

![]() A little late to the party here but anyway...I must agree with two things already mentioned: LoN... I'm so NOT interested and I detest having to d/l the stuff associated with LoN, plus I am truly annoyed by the LoN in-game SPAM. Advertise the game.... EQ2 is an excellent game and yet so many people I talk to who know about gaming, who are aware of or play WoW or other MMOs, even some I'm not really aware of, have zero clue about EQ2. When I give them the url for the website and they actually take the time to check it out I often get feedback along the lines of "oh, it's like WoW, eh?" It's not and I end up spending a fair amount of time explaining the differences. But I'm not an advertiser and I reach just a few people. I don't want the game's population to explode but hey, if we don't grow we'll die, IMO. About the only other thing that I would say really rates a "this bugs me" is that too many of the players are unaware of your /petition system and how to use it. In the past several months or so I've had a lot of off the cuff chats in-game with people who have been horribly harassed by another player, one gal to the point where she stopped playing for several months, but had no clue that the /petition system even exsisted! In fact, several months ago I explained it to a group of people who were being terribly harassed by a player and it seemed that once they all followed through with the /petition process this person disappeared and the harassment stopped. |

It'd be nice to actually be able to lay down too, no not feign dead either but actually lie down. Almost every single RPer I know wants this. I know it's not a big deal to raiders and most non-role players but hey, they made the furniture, and then made even MORE so along with it adorning our homes and now the guild halls how about we can actually SIT in it? |

Just tested the new tradeskill workshop thingie. I have done quite a bit of crafting in my days and though I'd might as well solo it. It's just 100+ combines. After 1.5 h my internet temporarily took a plunch and I was, of course, thrown out of the game. 50+ No-zone crafted components dissappeared, and I will naturally never ever zone into one of those instances again. Appart from the whole attempt being a very bleak attempt to put in some more ts content in the game, there's absolutly no reason for those components to be no-zone. There's no new interface or mechanics to the thing, but just a a repeatable quest ya have to do all over again and again. It's just so much below the standard new content should have.

![]() Right, what bugs me the most about EQ2? Plenty of things... hrmmm... Specifically, off the top of my head, the tradeskilling interface. Moving the camera, chatting, or doing anything outside the tradeskilling window causes it to become 'inactive'. So while crafting, if you move the camera or start chat, you have to click on the tradeskill window again to be able to use the abilities and counter the disaster events. For something as repetitive and dull as tradeskilling, I think it would be a good idea to give more leeway for distractions such as chat or the in-game browser. It's not like there's anything interesting going on anyway... you're just standing idle with one animation and pushing buttons to whatever 'simon says'. Also, beyond that little pet peeve; provisioners need something more than 2-6 recipes per level, adventure classes need a severe balance pass, the graphics engine needs to be revamped to make more liberal use of the GPU... blah blah blah, etc. etc. etc... |

![]() I have to agree with many here. What bugs me the most about EQ2 ... NO ADVERTISING. Sure there was the "legends" thing over the summer. That was mostly directed at previous customers not attempting to bring in fresh blood. C'mon SOE I was at the Best Buy in Virginia Beach, VA last night and WoW had 5 stinking shelves FULL of expansions (Burning Crusade & Lich King), heck they even had the base game. Advertising for WoW was all over the dang place. Look for TSO .... ONE copy tucked away WWWWAAAAYYY down on the bottom. We all know this is a much better game than WoW, why is SOE letting it die? Expansions or no expansions without advertising this game unfortunately is on life support, while WoW flourishes. Makes me a sad panda |

![]() 1.) For one, SOE's advertising department needs to get in contact with all the big technological, modern media retailers (Best Buy, EBGames/GameStop, Target, Walmart, Amazon, NewEgg) as well as all the contemporary publishers (PCWorld, CNet, PCMag, IGN, 1Up, GamesRadar, GamesCritic, GameTrailers, etc). A robust and solid offering needs to be pursued for the next expansion and it NEEDS to blow our and the video game industry's minds. With the latest introduction of in-game player surveys (<3 though I suggested this a long time ago I doubt it was me that contributed to its current inception), there is much to include for conversation with publication spots). 2.) For two, try to not let the lowest common denominators fall by the wayside. The PvP community drastically deserves something titillating and refreshing than 129 hours of writting for their gear. Quests for sabotage, defense, offense, or territorial capture can completely spice up and show a care for investing in the PvP realm. A player and developer collaborated tutorial for new PvP inductees would also show unmatched commitment to the futures of your consumer base. Critically considering the adaptation of level-locking (your PvP community's highly cherished pastime) could be done in the ways I've considered in my post to December's "Dev Question of the Month". Also, permanent immunity needs to be removed and people need to be given only 45 seconds of immunity after evacuating. Manually respawning at a physical location (while your encounter is still engaged in PvP combat) NEEDS to be disabled. Your players have sought this for months or years and this still isn't a present feature. The only way players should be rescusitated is by Priests with in-combat resurrections. (Blitz)Krieging is a severely weak tactic that every adept players frowns upon. Evacuation should also have a 30 minute reuse timer for all classes, and Scout evacuation shouldn't be only interruptible by fearing. Truly consider re-itemizing Legendary and Fabled from levels 10-69. I completely mean it with utmost sincerity, please. Truly do it. 3.) Giving Mages a form of track, a la "Triangulate," would significantly balance the disparity in DPS class competence when it comes to utility in PvP. 3.5.) Making invisibility or stealthing actually utilitarian in PvP would be enjoyable. If Mages were to be fulfilled and receive their form of tracking, they should be the only class types able to triangulate invisible enemies and Scouts should be the only class types able to track stealthed enemies, regardless of totem usage (perusal of such sigh augmentation via totems should only enable targeting within maximal render range). 4.) Fourthly, targeting over inclines and declines has severe issues with functionality that shouldn't exist when invisible lines could be drawn from a character's eyes to even the foot of an enemy players' mount, let alone their head or whichever appendage. Please address this. 5.) Melee auto-attack damage, if not overall melee damage, likely needs to be scaled back by about 50% in PvP circumstances. 6.) Thirdly, aesthetics and personal image are something that should have implementation sought in the cleanest manner. The inability to stack particle effects severely limits the uniquity with which one pursues their own individuality in these populated realms. With such new liberty though ought come required optionality. I highly suggest being able to left mouse-click in a little box on your maintained effects and enter 1-12 for prioritizing which particle effect would show first, second, third, or whichever, depending upon how many personal particle effects players have opted to display in their personal display configurations (something that would also need to be added). I truly feel that there's no reason players should be restricted from enjoying promotional and valid game content simply due to a lack of developer foresight for fluid inclusion. Why should I have to forego one of my signature Shadowknight effects (Hand of Lucan) to utilize my staple "Vision of the Deep," let alone the countless other, interesting offerings available throughout the game (i.e. the new 5-year veteran rewars, "Pixie on a String")? Also, please heavily consider adding weapon, shield, and bow appearance slots. 7.) Being able to destroy enemy guild hall strategist flags would make the prospect of contesting mobs a lot fairer. 8.) Offering the ability to establish yourself with another race's traits (while replacing and completely forgetting your original set) would ignite a fluid equity among the PvP paradigm. These quest lines should be unbelievably extensive and should require the amount of time getting the new critical mitigation PvP token gear requires, which is 129 hours (775 tokens for a full set with 10 minutes per each token [775*10/60]) with NO interruptions. With races like Ratongas and Barbarians and Sarnaks and Kerras, many people enjoy exclusive advantages that others have no chance of topping. 9.) Guild hall permissions for amenities should be attached as a tab in the guild menu. The access menu should be left for houses and applying usability for guild halls to those out of guild. Being able to incentivize progress within a guild through additional unlocked freedoms would be an invaluable administrative resource. 10.) I would love if aerial mounts could be adopted and if the oversights on the extent of zone creation from high altitude perspectives could be addressed. 11.) If it could be possible, another thing that you developers or designers might seek to confront next is the lag in broker consignment transactions. Gnome of Gnomes, General Seliri Dar'Yanne, Legend of Norrath 65 Shadowknight/80 Armorer (P.S. Looking to give unique or novel rewards off of points earned from moderators if players make significant and devoted contributions in the forums is something that would take people aback when it comes to player-developer involvement. That would be unbelievable and something seriously satisfying, let alone something that could stand as another talking point if you decide to seriously advertise this wonderful hobby, this product, of fantastic potential. Appending this piece of advocacy to include communal points awarded by GMs to players who contribute on a consistent and positive basis while active on live servers would also be an enjoyably interactive engagement for all of the playerbase as well. However, the content that could be unlocked with communal points, I feel, would have to harbor some interesting offerings like those given from the D.I.R.T.Y. merchants, perhaps a list of exclusive content that could be updated on a monthly or bi-monthly period.) ![]() Am I the only person who annoyed by charge numbers on hotbar including bank supplies? Because I don't know reason why I need to see total of 501 charges of jaguar totem instead of 1 charge I'm actually carrying. Same with potions. Constant screen bobbing while moving mounted is also stressful displeasure on low fps. Can we have 'steady camera while mounted' option?

![]() When I read the first post on this subject that talked about mounts needing to jump instead of raring up and neighing, I about flipped! Where, in the real world, have you EVER seen an animal just up and JUMP straight up in the air? Especially a Horse! If you want to make some Mythical creature jump up in the air, fine - whatever. But I've been around horses all my life, and to think that you might change the way the horses respond when hitting the space bar makes me shudder! PLEASE keep this the way it is! It is even a custom for those of us who play together regularly to greet each other with a raring of the mount and the Battle Cry (as I think of it) that accompanies the animation. Don't do this, please! EVER! Thanks for Listening! Hawgwar *Minor language edit |

![]() it bugs me that I cant get lower level masters of abilities that don't have upgrades. As someone who was not here then the original content was fresh, it is virtually impossible to get master from past tiers (especialy the master from Bloodline Chronicals). I've worked hard to get my masters , but there will always some that I can't get How about a reward someplace that allows someone to pick any one master - maybe a signature quest. That way for diligent players, there is at least some way to fill in a past gap. |

![]() I dont know if its been mentiond before but as far as i know, if i have an illutionary form on, the only way i have to inspect the appearance of an armor items is to either hid the illustionry form or disable the illustion. I'd like a conveniat way of veiwing myself without the illustion, or making the view of myself when examining an item illustion free by default. I cant see why youd ever want to see your illution form more than the item you clicked on to veiw. |

![]() Baubles that should be able to stack cannot (totems, tinkered items, the stupid items you harvest during the nexona encounter, etc). Change them to be stackable, allow the old items to exist until they are used up just as you did with potions back in the day. Tower of Stone (guardian lv58 skill) does not work if you change shields after you start casting, or after it has been cast, even if you change from 1 tower shield to a second tower shield. |

Don't lie to us - don't pretend something is being brought to the game because we asked for it, nor go back on your word. Allow disabling of advertisments, moving them to a special chat filter - rather than rubbing our noses in something many of us find unsavoury or downright abhorrent, not even being able to "forget about it and move on". This issue has been compounded by the StationCash announcements posing as a system message. Better testing before release, not only so it works, but also to provide time for the community to comment on it. More information, in general development. Please describe what is being worked on so we could save you time and say "no" to something that'll prove unpopular, or make suggestion that could be inspire the development team in a complimentary direction.

YOU IDIOTS (sorry - main Idiot John Smedly - get to work advertising this game you bum!!) - drop the ball every time, and it is simply LAZINESS that you don't apply the old-school business practice of Advertising, instead of trying to drain the now-fledgling player base! You are digging your OWN GRAVES! Good Luck with your new Scam Cash /NOT! EDIT: Had to point to the one responsible... |

![]() One of the top issues was the LoN stuff, now its the Station Wally World Space Bucks thing for sure. Put that kind of stuff in game as content. If you want real world money, sell t-shirts or something I can actually hold in my hand (free advertising at the same time)..... not for plat farmer power leveling items or items that should have been in game as part of a quest line. I would probably buy an EQ2 coffee mug, gilded map, or under-roos... at least before you decided to become the new G-potato and sell achievement points. |

![]() Since I cancelled my account, here's my beefs about EQ2 from the departed... 1. Get to level 70, and with the expansion, tradeskilling double XP is even slower than adventure XP. So making just food for myself -- 2 stacks -- will drop it into the danger zone of losing the XP and burning through hard to get and expensive T8 mats. I was ready to quit, since I couldn't even work on my tradeskilling when the adventure XP was low. 2. Guildhalls making cities worthless. They should've been in the center of the cities, to encourage folks using the existing maps. 3. A 100 slot harvest box with more than 100 harvestables. Then allowing anyone access to it or not. 4. No log for that harvest box to remind those, who uses the most mats, to help the guild to replace so many they took. As others are doing him a favor and restocking it, via harvesting or buying mats -- and not being so selfish to think it's a right. 5. A community of inbred alts of mains, that expects everyone else to be an main or an alt of someone who played the game at launch -- as there's not that many playing. A guild of almost 300 unique players, with 3 players on at night, is an example of how low population the game is on average. 6. A UI that allows only a 480x480 at most peep hole to play through on the NET STANDARD 1024x768 resolution. Why? Because there's too many buttons (and some that won't scale down taking up even more real estate). I showed the UI to a competitor and they swore they wouldn't torture their players like that! 7. Yucky mismatched decor. My house looked like a junk pile. Salesman's crates that looked like level 10 furniture and an eyesore, along with most of the house items. They either were made for evil characters who love skeletons and chains for decor; or think bedrock furniture is pretty. I'm a Paladin, my castle needed to show goodness and light, not exposing a torture chamber dungeon. 8. My Pally being nerfed not even 3 months into playing this game! Now my best heal is on a 5 minute timer, but costs nearly 500 power to cast. So when you really need it, you can die casting it as Pally don't have enough power to cast the spells they have!! 9. Talk of changing Amends, the last remaining asset a Pally had in this game. The one "set it and forget it" button in 4 full hotbars that Pallys have to use and press ALL those buttons actively, to hope to kill the beasties before they kill you (as the devs HATE Paladins to the extent they make them so weak to die fighting). 10. No falcon. That's the pet for Paladins, not some worthless non-fighting squire. 11. Food and drink not even required. What the heck are Provisioners for in this game when raiders show up not even needing food and drink? Let alone can't make money, as folks selling it just above the fuel costs (which is a highway robbery for provisioners at T8, as unlike other tradeskillers, we have to keep making stacks of food. Not one piece of armor maybe in a week). 5g for 2 pieces of food, and it's selling for like 3g a piece. Wow, 1g profit on 5hr food. Not like you're going to get much more business, as folks can put some of those 200 AAs in extending the food ration longer. 12. TSO mount that doesn't scale to a player's race. My Dire Bear looking like Mr. Toothless Pony under me as a Barbarian. Paid $39 for a worthless mount. Yeah, it bothered me so much and helped to fuel my desire to leave. The ingame store was the match to finally make it possible. |

I would definitely support a system like that. Today at Frostfell: me and a friend are questing. Some mythical FPs come and gank us. We group up with another person in the zone and invite some guildies for a decently even fight (save the mythicals the opposers have). I get all excited that we might have a decent, long, even PvP fight for the first time since guild halls had PvP enabled..but nope! Evac into immunity at the first sight of any sort of even fight, even though their chances were still higher. What fun is PvP when you only PvP to gank? Having several-minute-long fights is far more fun, and it's so frustating to be ganked, form a defense, then be evacced on. With a system like this, they wouldn't be hugging their titles as such. We would all be faced with a fun challenge.
