It has been since Sept 29th on my main toon and even my guild data is way off. So how often does update happen and is there a way to force push my character data to the server as was created in original Everquest?

It is supposed to happen approximately every 24 hours. It does not, and has not for quite some time (well over a year now). Whether you subscribe to the so-called "Advanced Services" makes no difference as to the update frequency (it's not supposed to anyway). You can subscribe - or cancel - and the problem will still continue to exist. Updates can also be extrememly irregular. Some people have noticed update stop for a while, restart updating, then go back to delays of many days or weeks.

SoE appears to be aware of the problem. Based on its continuing reoccurance they also don't seem to care to fix it.

Nope. At least, there is no mechanism available to the players that they've made us aware of.

Can we give the Player the ability to update There Char info on EQ2Players.com ???

I am in total agreement about giving players the option to update their own player info. I mean even if we're limited to once every 24 hours on each character or acct. My player info on my accounts hasnt updated in 13 days! Thats completely ridiculous. Glad I dont pay for it anymore and this being the reason, its very unreliable information.

I transferred 5 characters from Butcherblock to AB - 2 weeks ago.  I was able to keep the name of my main character, but had to change the names of the remaining 4.

Not one of my transferred characters show up on EQ2Players, either on the old server Butcherblock or the new server Antonia Bayle.

How do I go about getting them to show up on EQ2players??

ReQuest Charecter Profile update on eq2players.com site.!!! It says last time played was oct  9th 2008. Last time I played game was oct 29th, 2008.

TBH it does update daily it just the stats are not updating.

 To test this remove an item or replace an item and look at your equipment online you will see it get updated.

They need to fix the stats portion of the website.

I was going to ask the same thing but slightly different:

Can i ask All of you: Is the equipment your char wears updated every other day or the same as your stats. Can you change one peice for a few days to see. Mine is updated everyother day. Never had a problem with my gear being updated. I dont understand the difference between your gear and your stats. It is coming from the Same source Right ??

Never mind just figered it out your stats are coming from login server, while gear is coming from game server.

I have to agree with the posts here.  It would be really nice for the character data to be updated.  This is a feature that I pay for and use frequently.  I can understand why it's not updated on a daily basis, but it would be nice if this information could be updated weekly or even twice a month.  If there is any way that a tech, dev or even a mod could respond and let us know when this will be updated I am sure it would be appreciated.

Well My toon got updated as of Nov 5th, question is do we have to wait another month for further updaet =(

I want to resubscribe but the once in a blue moon update is not helping me to make the decision.

It seems like the problem is worse on AB than on other servers.  I have characters on both AB and Blackburrow.  My Blackburrow characters are fairly up-to-date, but my AB ones are more than a month behind.  I even have three new characters on AB that don't show up at all!

This is really ridiculous, especially if you're paying the extra money each month for the EQ2 Players subscription.

Seriously, is this such a hard thing to fix?

My character still shows as being level 74. I haven't been 74 for months. I cancelled the add ons today.

My friends and I created a guild last friday and it still doesn't show up on EQ2players, that also means we've no access to the supposed guild site or anything else for that matter.  My paladin shows I'm still in a guild I'm not, my troubie doesn't show in a guild at all (even though she is the guild leader) and in general my sentiment is...

If you ain't going to fix it and update it, shut it down completely.  Just get rid of it completely and stop advertising for a service you dont' intent to provide.

Everyone send in CS tickets for this, maybe if enough of us complain, they might actually fix it.  I know, wishful thinking, but it is better than doing nothing...

I used the email support and did get a response that they were able to reproduce the error and were escalating it to the dev team, but perhaps if others do this, it will impart a faster fix for all of us SMILEY

REQUEST PROFILE UPDATE PLEASE , THANK YOU. says I last played Nov 5th, i play this game everyday, my current level is 72. Would like to sugest you give Players ability to update there own profiles. so we can move on. this is getting very old .

when are you going to fix this? take a look at my 35 zerker level 3 artisan.... no wait, hes 67 and level 28 carpenter but his profile hasn't updated for that long. You can see this by the armor he is wearing.

AGAIN FOR THE 5TH TIME REQUESTING MY PROFILE BE UPDATED IT still says I last played NOV 5th 2008. I HAVE PUT IN A REQUEST FOR THE PAST THREE WEEKS ON THIS. IS ANYONE AT SOE TECH SUPPORT READING THESE ???? I ALSO SUBMITTED A CS TICKET FOR THIS. STILL NOTHING. CAN YOU PEOPLE GIVE THE PLAYER ACCESS TO UPDATE THERE PROFILE SO WE CAN GET PAST THIS OR CAN YOU ALEAST DO THE STATS THE SAME AS THE GEAR. COME ON HOW HARD IS IT MY GEAR IS UPDATED EVERY 24 HOURS WHY CANT MY STATS ???

I would say I want an update, but it isn't just me. My guild still shows the wrong members and ranks.. This is sad. Does anyone from SOE even look in here?

This really is ridiculous.  My profile hasn't updated in over a month.  I'd love to see my new standings on the leaderboards, but I can't because I still have month-old data on it.

I don't see any reason why we can't force an update on our profiles like we can in EQ1.  I mean if the server won't update for us, then let us do it ourselves.

I also find the total silence from SOE on this subject to be disconcerting.  We are actually paying for this service.  We are paying for something that doesn't work.  Will we get refunds? No.  Will we get an extended free subscription to the service should the issues ever be fixed? No.  It worries me that this is going to be the business model for all things concerning EQ2 in the near future.
