Got Beta invite today but... - Page 3

Adding myself to the no beta access yet on forums or in EQ2Beta.exe play.

Same issues, signed NDA, got 3rd email with instructions links etc that was already posted here in this thread. Copied my regular EQ2 play directory to a beta directory>copied EQ2Beta.exe to that directory and to desktop.

Can't access the beta forums (from the link, from cut and pasted link, from typing link in, from standing on head and turning monitor over.....) at all takes me to the regular SOE forums with no Beta area. Can't get into beta, same issue, says I don't have an account, which I do, been playing since launch on same account. Went to Fan Faire. So we are all in the same boat.

I am using Vista and I was concerned that was the issue, glad that it doesn't seem to be (tried using as Admin and not using as Admin no go either way)..........yet .

I am wondering if anyone has actually gotten into the beta yet. Trevor said it was locked so I'm thinking no one's in there yet?

Did get my in-game cloak though SMILEY Yey for Fan Faire freebies SMILEY

If the beta invite worked corretly we would be posting this into the beta forums but even with our invite we got we still dont have access to the beta forums or the beta it self. And if the problem is that we have not signed the NDA yet witch is what Customer Service informed me of yesterday.

Apologies for not getting an update, but I haven't heard back from anybody yet. Currently if you are logging into the beta server with the Eq2beta.exe and you get the error 'no subscription" it is because the beta access has not been added to your account just yet. If you did receive an email you will be given beta access, it is just not active yet.Once I hear anything else I will let you all know.

Thanks for the update. For some reason I am really excited to beta test this expansion. I think I am still high from Fan Faire and all the cool stuff I saw and did there.Would be nice if we got an email saying we have been added, I am getting carpel tunnel from running the beta launcher and looking for the forum every 5 minutes.

The beta sign up is over for now from what I can tell. If you did not recieve an email to sign up, I am sorry, but you were not selected at this time.

I received a response from my PM to a loyal SOE employee stating that she has brought this to the beta teams attention and to give it a few days for all of the systems to get caught up.

Well I assume since it was announced that all Fan Faire attendies get beta access that posting we have gotten invites and can't get in doesn't violate the NDA. It's not like we are posting anything that isn't public knowledge already. Beside I am sure this thread would be locked if anybody was breaking the NDA. I didn't post until after it got a response from SOE just in case though.

well i got a beta email and one regesterd to my account now. but its for the EQ1 expantion and i dont remember sighning up for that one.just got another e-mail for the EQ2 beta but its the same one we all got already and still not flagged for the EQ2 beta. hopefuly i still get flagged for it and there wasent a mix up and i got stuck with the EQ1 beta insted.

not onley does it say im already regestard, but it also says beta started 16 days ago. and no beta accses still.
