![]() Didn't know how to name the topic so that it is short but self-explaining enough. For a long time I wished I could wear profession hats of other classes. This made me have the idea of a new profession hat quest (beside Hoolooh, Lab/Lyceum, EoF-fabled and RoK-fabled class hats). Turning in that quest you could select one of all 24 class helmets but as CLOTH armor so that every class could wear every helmet. This hat/helmet would be lore and no-trade and hasn't any stats or is wearable in the appearance slot only. I suppose there are two opinions: 1 - "No. Have every class have a unique profession hat that no other class has." 2 - "Yes. Good idea. Since I don't like the look of my classes' profession hat and wish I had a second one for appearance purposes. Though it may not show my 'profession' I like the look." Btw many hats would not be totally unfitting for other classes. And if anyone choses an inappropriate looking hat for his class... if he likes to be a clown... would be his own decision |

The Monk Hat has already been shared by a dozen other items in the game already.. Might as well let us wear everything as well... :/

I have to admit, since launch, I've wanted to have a hood on my swashy w/o wearing a robe. I'm a rogue! I know I'm a really dashing rogue, but even the dashing rogues wear a hood from time to time. Please???

![]() This seems more appropriate for the Items/equipment thread, but here's my 2cp. I would like to see a greater variety of headgear styles in general. They needn't be clones of the class helms. We get streetclothes in the form of the tailor outfits and formal wear. Why not some head pieces as well? Those bandanas the gnome lasses wear are rather cute, especially for a crafter working the forge. Perhaps some Dressy hats for the gents and a tiara or something for the ladies to wear for formal occasions without troubling the barber. Must all the leather caps look alike? Perhaps a metal circlet for out plate-clad friends that don't like to sweat in a helm all day. We don't need to steal the hamburgler hats, fury garlands, KFC buckets, etc and just slap another color on them. Just intro some handcrafted, status or purchaseable fluff items we can pop into our appearance head slots for kicks. Who knows, maybe there's a shaman somewhere who'd really love a coonskin cap. |

![]() I'd rather see the Monk Helm and GI's made so that only Brawlers can wear them. Though, I do think the Hood should be shared between all the scouts and a Better or more involved hat given to the Rangers. A Paladin should be the only one with Wings and the Druids should be the only ones with wreaths, Inquistors should look like the Pope .. Clerics need a better helm (imo) other than the "bleep" hat, Berserkers are the only ones that should ever have the Nordic Horns .. etc ... In other words ... I'd rather see more work in individializing the Classes rather than watering them all down to being the same as everyone else! |

![]() how about just being customizable, ie, craftable by Tailors, armorers etc. I mean, the problem with the class hats as they are now, is that its a huge long drawn out quest or zones to do them, and then you get (in case of swashy) is some black had with an orange/yellow stripe and feather, etc. who thought of these colors on some of the class hats. another swashy one is brown with a bluish purple stripe / feather. Its really sad. With the dawn of "appearance" slots, people like to customize the way their toons look, and the class hats are just junk in that department. Allow crafters to do quests to allow them to make the class hats and then allow them to customize the colors, or give them a certain amount of different types / colors to choose from. would be cool anyways. But alas, it took Sony 5 months after i petitioned and recieved a "great idea, i see nothing wrong with this and will pass this to the powers that be to get it implemented" response on the idea of putting a confirm box on teh "clear all hotkeys" so this will probably never get implemented, but i guess its ok to dream |

Please??? Dash your way to LFay and you may find what it is you seek! A lot of gear in-game is starting to use similiar graphics to that of the profession helm...however, it would be nice to get rid of the Brigand hat...but...meh, /hide headcover works for me... |

![]() you can find some hat class looks on some other item. for me a profession hat is a proffesion hat so so that's it. you shouldn't be able to wear those. But they could change the skin of some items in the game to give them the looks of the professio hats. You can find already the monk's, wiz's, bruiser's, ranger's, assassin's, illusionnist's ... maybe warlock's too, I'm not sure, and maybe more, I don't know. I do like the druid ones because you still see the hairs. Why haven't they done that with the bruiser headband? But more type of helms would be great. unique non proffession hats. like a archetype and class uniaue hats. you know from the legendary T8 archetype set and the class fabled set. so you'll have an archetype hat, a class hat and a subclass hat. all uniques |
