Have you bee nable to successfully add EQ2.exe and everquest2.exe to Zonealarms allowed lists?I have had quite a few number of players that have ended up removeing zonealarm because of how over protective it is.

My ISP is also Blueyonder, well, actually they've rebranded as Virgin Media but obviously I know what you mean.I dropped ZoneAlarm and use the free one called PC Guard, which you can download from the Virgin Media website. If you're going to use it you will need to uninstall Zonealarm first as they are extremely non-compatible.Little note for what you might see in Zonealarm (i.e. what I see in PC Guard) for EQ2 if you don't get the file names as provided above:EQ2.exe = EQ2LauncherEverquest2.exe = EQ2 Client Applicationalso required when I login:lp_plugin.exe = lp_plugin (from the SonyStation directory)LaunchPad.exe = LaunchPad (from the SonyStation directory)Although, if you are using the new Beta Station Launcher then it'll be the LaunchPad.exe from the Station Launcher directory.

Thank you for the replies!Out of interest I uninstalled ZoneAlarm to see if this was the issue, but I am still getting the same error message.

I have determined that it must be related to I.E. I noticed it had been running slow, so I made sure I had the latest updates. After that it has now stopped working. Because the Launchpad runs through I.E., it must be the cause? But I am unsure how to go about it, because I.E. can't be removed and I don't have a browser at home now to download any old versions of it. (Currently using ingame browser!)

Solved! It turns out that even though I uninstalled Norton 360, some of the system files were still on my PC. Due to this it started to conflict with ZoneAlarm and auto block things in the background. After removing all the Norton files, it works just fine now.
