I am wondering about mystic crit %, we have a mystic in our raid and their crit % is very low in comparison to other healers. Is there something wrong with the mystic crits? I have asked what her crit heal % is and it is much higher than is being seen in ACT. Could anyone explain this to me. I guess I should ask about AA spec for a raiding mystic, I have looked over quite a few of the posts, but as I am not sure how mystics work some explaination would be highly desired.

Shaman can get a max of about 18% heal crit without adding gear into the mix, with just straight AA. The rest has to come from gear, buffs, and adornments

If ACT doesn't register ward crits as heal crits, that would most likely explain the situation. I will look into this possibility as well. Thank you.

Wards do crit, but there is no way to read that from the logs. So ACT doesn't pick it up.Sure, I can go back and see 5000 HP+ Ward absorb messages, so yes, I can see that my Wards are in fact crit'ing, but if my 5000 point Ward only takes 1 point of damage, I have no way of know whether the Ward was 5000 HP or 2 HP . . . I just know that it was "more" than the damage done.

![]() The only way I have been able to see if my wards crit is through Profit UI. The maintained spell window will show the amount of damage left in the wards, so you can tell when you cast if the ward crit or not. But no one else can tell but me! lol But I do have to say I love Profit for this feature. I'm sure its in other UIs as well though. |

![]() You can see in the standard UI as well (just have to mouse over which isn't practical sometimes). And yeah no one knows but me when I crit. |

Wards can crit and I see mine crit a lot. Your shaman should worry about her heal crit. Heal crit doesn't do anything for us like it does for the wardens (with their mythical) but it can make the wards HUGE sometimes. In VP, I hit around a 10,100 point group ward on a crit. That's just sick.

Sorry, I call shenanigans on that one.Yes, there can be some big numbers out there, but there is no way to get 10k on a Ward.Let's assume that your Group Ward has a base amount of 4200 HP. You'd need to first get 2100 points of +Heal on your person to take the amount up to 6300 (that's a pretty dubious prospect). You might get Coercive Healing for an amount around 7k, to which a crit *might* add 15% (this mechanic is in question atm). That puts you up around 8100 HP.

I berg to differ that a ward can't be that big... not that a mystic can do it |

I also had Gravitas at the time as well and Totem of the Anekexfen procced adding an extra 20% then I got a crit off of that. Just because you don't believe a group ward can get that high doesn't mean that it did happen. |
