![]() i created a new character via work which hasnt got station launcher, here at home i do and i only have my US character.....how do i select my EU one? im seem to be getting all the bad luck with this game... |

![]() got it, had to change to english now got 10 hours of updates i hope this game is worth it, i have never ran into so many problems in my life with a game (buying, updating, installing, signin up). at the moment i spent since sunday just updating! i got to play last night, but i was on a US server and i made a new char on an EU server and now i have another 10 hours of updates to go, so yet again another night i wont get to play. please tell me things get better, as im starting to loose faith already. EDIT 17 HOURS! |

Its worth it so hang in there. The long update time primarily has to do with your ISP and/or latency between you and the update servers. Most people, myself included can do a fresh install and be patched and launched inside of 3 hours if not sooner. |

There was a new Game Update yesterday and the Euro servers are on a different update schedule than the US ones (so they can have the down time when it's not their prime time). This means, though, that they game files are at a different "stage". The patcher brings you into sync with the game file point of the servers. This is why you would have had to go through the US update and now the EU one.Yes, it does get better. BIG patches like a GU only happen about every other month. But, with each GU there is often new content added for FREE. The most recent GU added a lot of new content including a new adventure zone which is why it was a bit bigger than a "normal" GU.

![]() thanks for the support, i finally got it all working and patched up with all the voice overs etc. had a good game tonight starting from scratch on an EU server - my god other people exist lol - and got my Wizard to level 11 in a few hours completing the quests |
