After the latest update i have no been able to login to my account. It gets into the loading page but then says logging ito Server 1, then 2..

It goes all the way to 9 then restarts to 1 again. It'll go through the line down to nine once again then say that the servers are too busy, try logging in a few mintues.

I have been trying all day to figure out what is wrong with my computer, but i tried it again on my other computer and it's doing the same thing. However my third computer can log in just fine to Everquest 2.

So would anyone happen to know what is going on?

I have no idea what the problem is.

But I can say that I am experiencing this same sort of problem, but have been experiencing since Monday [4-7-2008] night.  Been in contact with SOE Tech support and everything they've suggested hasn't worked so far.

The only difference for me though is that I think I seem be losing the connection at the same time I connect to the Login Server, so I get stuck at "Trying login server #1" and sometimes "Loading to zone server."

I've seen a couple other posts of people getting stuck trying to log into game as well, but able to log in through another computer.  Unfortunately, I only have one.

This isn't good...

I've even tried the full system scan and have no been able to fix the problem.  I have done everything i can think of, hopefully someone will be able to tell us what's wrong, because the working computer is my mothers Computer...

You may want to try and disable the firewall, and antivirus software if they are installed. You may also want to that try running a clean boot, by making sure all unnecessary background programs are disabled. Please follow the directions below on how to accomplish this.To disable background programs. 1. Select the START button.2. Select RUN.3. Type in "msconfig" (without the &quotSMILEY4. Press OK5. Select the STARTUP tab.6. For Windows 98/ME, uncheck all boxes EXCEPT for SCANREGISTRY and SYSTEM TRAY. If you use Windows XP, click on the disable all button.7.Hit apply and then OK. Restart the computer when prompted, then try the game again.

Looks like some more may be experiencing the same thing as skimmed through this side of the forums this morning...

I wonder what the heck it is.  I've tried just about everything, from turning off my firewall and anti-spyware, to completely uninstalling my Internet security program to see if it was conflicting with the game, even though they have never conflicted before.  The only time the Internet security program recognized Everquest 2 was when it asked me if I wanted to "Allow" or "Allow Once" or "Block" it from running.

Still in touch with SOE and I've sent them the info they have requested, so we'll see.

Still no luck, though I saw another person with the same exact problem as me, occuring on the same exact day.
