Since I posted my house on these boards, I've had so many visitors and I love it!  A lot of people visit during the day when I'm on other toons though apparently.  What I wish I had more than anything else right now is a guestbook or message board!  If people could leave a note for me there so I always knew who had visited it would greatly cheer me up when I return to my home after a rough day of raiding!

Does anyone else think this sounds like fun?

A guestbook does indeed sound nice, but there's a bunch of other stuff I want fixed first (like weaponsmithing).

Please don't take this the wrong way, but do you think that bringing those weaponsmith issues up in every thread that doesn't even have anything to do with it is going to make something happen any faster? This is the housing and decorating forum, you know...To the OP: Sounds like a great idea. SMILEY

/agree.I think a guestbook would be fantastic!  I wish there was something I could look at for the houses I've decorated (maybe available to trustees?) but just to have one for my own house would be enough.  I fully support this idea ^_^

I'd also like to see current furniture bugs fixed first as well, like not being able to place anything on top of horned leather rugs, damask rugs, and xegonite tables. Better? Also notice that I did not say I didn't like the idea of a guestbook. In fact, I said it would be nice. That means I'm not opposed to seeing it done. I'd just like a certain number of other things fixed before making something new.

I love the idea of a guest book.  Is there anyway to tell if you've had visitors now? (other than them telling you they stopped by that is) SMILEY

Those have actually been fixed in the last GU SMILEY. You can now place things on stone planters, xegonite tables, ...I would love to have a guestbook too!

That would be super and while they are at it, a message board would be a nice complemenatry addition. You could then put up a customized sign that says: Please sign my guest registry, the stuffs in the basement, or back in 10 minutes, etc. SMILEY

I think a guestbook is a fantastic idea... how many time I've wanted to leave messages for people about their houses, then forget by the time I got to a mailbox!

Yes, this is a great idea, and one that has been suggested a number of times.  Search this forum for guest book, and you will see that lots of us are with you.  I would LOVE to have a guest book, and I'm happy every time this issue comes up because I keep thinking that if we ask enough times, one day we might get this.  SMILEYCurrently, the best way I know of to tell someone you've visited is to send them in-game mail.  I've gotten a number of messages from people who have visited my homes, but a guest book would be much nicer, and I think people would be much more likely to use it.

I would love a guestbook. My house is a WRECK at the moment (I moved into a 5room a month ago and still haven't decorated it, I'm just lost on where to begin- and I'm an 80 Carpenter!). I've just got these ideas and I'm not sure where to go with it. I'm trying to build a sauna/steam room with the door downstairs, and then the area just at the bottom of the stairs be the bar/Bristlebane altar, but I'm just lost. However, I love visiting other folks' homes- I'll go to their house to buy out of sales crates, even if the price is so low it wouldn't matter paying the broker fee, JUST so I can see their house! And when I see one I like, I always try to send a letter off... but I'd love to be able to scribble something out right away, while I was there, just in case I'd forget to do it later.

Just would like to add the idea I read here previously, to avoid [Removed for Content] spam (which I guess might be major concern for devs) it would be nice to give preset options to click. Ti
