Rothgar,Thanks for making this post, hopefully some of the major complaints here will be fixed. Nice to see dev's take an interest in what is bothering the community. That said I just wish to echo some of the ones already listed:1. Multi Core Support and better GPU utilization!2. Fix the ammo issue so that it isn't as reliant on ammo levels or make easily accessible tier 8 ammo that makes tier 8 ranged weapons greater than tier 7 like it should be.3. Hit boxes on some creatures are so large that you need to stand very far away to be able to use ranged abilites, please make them smaller.

The Splitpaw ability for me (berserker, may be the same for guards and possibly other warriors, not sure) called Goading Gesture is currently totally useless to me because you initially put it on the same timer as our main single target taunt, which is much better. The Bloodline Chronicles ability for us in no way conflicts with other combat arts by comparison. If you could switch Goading Gesture to be on its own separate timer, it would be a tremendous help because it would give us an added taunt/threat generating ability.

1. Fix the game mechanics. Im tired of the bandaid fix of mechanics. Dont they have any future sight at all? What i mean im kinda tired of all of the nerfs, changes, whining, flaming, etc. please, it would be great to have a mechanic revamp that would scale, work backwards, upside down, inverted, right now, things arent good at all.a. Resists, they are a joke, why? 800 heat resist is just as good as having 8k.b. Diminishing returns, its on everything, even crit %, if you got 100% on persona, thats not what you get against mob... it actually scales.c. only numbers i can rely on my persona is regen, hps, and power, rest are just diminising return, or scaled somehow so numbers in your persona isnt the actual numbers, your actual stats are scaled against the mob you fight.d. Make skills matter. if you got 5 or 400 in subjucation, your root lands just as good. Why should i even bother buffing my skills when it doesnt even matter. Ive seen level 80 chars that has been on AF since level 1 and never cast a spell hit just as good as me, and im level 80 with all my skills maxed out.e. Mobs killing tanks with 2 hits in under a second. Lately ive seen epic mobs double hit tanks down in less than a second, even when tanks has wards, stoneskin, and other protective means. Is it supposed to be like this?f. Melee/casting hitrate. As i said earlier make the skills actually worth something. Lots of mage, scouts, and fighter classes actually buff skills, and now it doesnt seem to affect fighting at all. an example: If im a swashbuckler and im buffed to 450 in piercing and i use a piercing weapon, my melee ability should count like a level 90, right? 2. Engine Upgrade. Upgrade the graphic engine to Directx9 atleast so we can utilize our graphic cards properly. Right now 90% is ran off the CPU. Utilize multicore. Otherwise its a great game, and i love it

HousingCan we please have the address of the house block displayed on the housing info window when you click on a house to enter/visit ?It would make it so much easier to see if you had the right house when going to buy something from another player.2. LFG windowWhen using the "old-style" find-players tab on Community screen, the "Level" range goes from 0-60 as default. Can it go from 0-80 as a default ? Also, when you increase the minimum value, and the current maximum is less, can you increase it automatically to be the same ?

![]() Ok how about this… -fix the vertices weighting for all races/sexes so when you put on certain armor or clothing it does not rip apart your toon when you crouch or swim. This is an easy fix for your rigging department. -Maybe housing in Qeynos and Freeport zones that have different looks than the default for that zone. -or and maybe just fix some of the last patches issues before adding a new patch with new issues? |

![]() Fallen Destany: 1. The 'kill # terracotas' instances can't be done by lv 80 characters: they need to either be made to scale or min lv of mob raised to 70 2. I can be completely alone in Forsaken City and yet I lag: I hardly ever lag anywhere else in the game. Other I can spend hours collecting/killing for pages in Everfrost and Feerrott, yet a number of the no-trade pages just don't seem to exist anymore Lack of 'recognition' of race with NPCs. I don't like it when a fellow Iksar talks me as if I am softskin (though the Kunark IksarI consider an exception until you build up faction). I want Faes to act nervious when talking to me since they don't know if I'll eat them or not (j/k, that's strictly a thing with my character That's all I can think of right now.... |

Two things I can think of: I would like some way to know which Druid Rings I have leaves forAnd I would like everyone to auto dismount when they get near a broker. Example if you click on the broker you get dismounted.

1. Multi core support is a must, its pretty sad that a game such as EQ2 does not support multiple CPU's. I built a new PC and found that even after spending a small fortune the game really doesnt run that much better than my old PC.2. MULTIPLE SIZE ROOMS IN THE VILLAGES - Why do all the 2 room, 3 room houses all have to be in such awful locations. I love Willow Wood and want a 2 bedroom apartment in there. QH is a total lag fest and will always be that way, why why why!3. SOE's inability to fix broken classes. I have a 80 illusionist and its blatantly obvious to me that the sister class (coerers) need a whole lot of loving. There's a few classes like this, that seem to be simply ignored.

I'll throw in a few...1. Illusions - Right now some of the illusions are seriously messed up. My female dark-elf necro turns into a human man with a bad comb over when the ghost illusion is on. And the ninja illusion from LoN shows part of a bald head at times.2. Illusions again - It would be nice if the pirate, ninja, etc. illusions didn't change your race, just your outfit look. I was sad when my dark elf turned into a human ninja. 3. Provisioner yields - It would be nice to craft stacks of food, not just one or two items.4. Banking - Bigger shared banks, regardless of alignment. Shared coin slots as well, please.5. Housepets - Please have the option to make them stationary.6. "On" option - Someone mentioned this earlier, but it would be nice for home items to have a default "on" setting that is persistent.7. Neriak Housing - I realise that Neriak is the Arasai city, but other races live there, too. The rooms seem to be far smaller than houses in Freeport and Qeynos. I'm also sad there's no outdoor area on them. It would also be nice to be able to customize the floors and whatnot there---with suitably dark decorating, of course.8. Heritage Quest Rewards - Not all of the rewards are mountable---the Bag of Sewn Evil Eye comes to mind. Please make this applicable to all the rewards.9. House Items - It would be nice to have another axis rotation point for item placement.10. Broker - It would be nice to have a "go to page X" or "go to 'letter'" when searching.11. Clothing - More options, please! And more "fantasy" looks, like in the intro video. I miss my SK armour from EQ I. Dye would be nice, too.12. /petition system - This really needs to be addressed. During the Erollisi Day festivities, the matchmaking quest was completely bugged for me, making it impossible for me to complete it on any character. I /petitioned several times over the course of the week it was up with no response, so I was unable to get the rewards, which I really wanted (the cloak).13. Mistmoore Piano - This is silly, but it would be cool to have an option to "play" the piano and have it perform a song.14. No Arasai/Fae Illusion - I'd really like to see this implemented. Or do the opposite of what the last update was and give the non-wing races a wing illusion.

I'd love to see travel consolidated. The harbor zones in the cities should be the hubs, and the ticket person should sell tickets to all bell destinations. And all those zones should have a boat that comes (every 5 mins, every 15 mins...) that takes you back to the harbor in the city. Why double hops to get places? Why make TS/Nek the hubs when all you do is zone in and zone out? Make the harbors the harbors.

Some more:-A better chat channel manager where you can set numbers, delete channels, add channels etc-Tidy up npc's and quests that are long gone such as trying to find the lost lands long since found...-An upcoming schedule of updates-A way of sorting collections - i have many upcompleted and the layout takes up too much space - for example make them expandable by type or sortable by nearly complete -Get rid of the jump sound effect before i murder someone continously jumping - i mean i can jump in real life with out a Sharapova grunt-For the love of god make me dance properly not like some clown-Some level of access for alts/people to access a single house store-Boats from Qeynos/FP, get rid of bells - have boats every where it brings life to the cities - I'd like full boat rides across seas btw =) we still have ports for quick travel but i'd like the option of sailing if I am relaxing =) - i hate the bells!-Remove restrictions on where you can put aa's-Look at spells in all classes - talk to the classes more about pointless spells and how the game is often like spell whackamole

A few things:1: My Wife still, to this day, must reset her chat channels on login. There's no clearly defined fix that's ever worked. Every time she logs in, her chat channels are randomly assigned to the wrong windows.2: Sometimes if you have "Force Looped Music" selected, when you zone, the old music AND the new music will start playing, essentially playing two music tracks overtop of one another until you log out.3: I still can't believe there's no "Recommended system to get the most out of EQ" listed. I use a Mac as my primary system, and have a PC exclusively for EQ and a few strategy games with far lower requirements. If I wanted to build a system to get the most out of EQ, there's *no* real official recommendation on how to do that. Should I run a 64 bit OS with 8 GB of RAM? Would two SLI video cards with 1GB of memory each actually improve performance over 2 cards with 512MB of RAM? How many cores are actually useful? Where should I focus my funds? Not specific components, but a "fastest single-core chip you can get, running 64 bit with 6GB of RAM and 2 513MB high end SLI cards, and fast hard drives is the ticket"3a: No official, dev-sanctioned tuning guide outlining what features have the most impact on performance. The best we have is a list compiled by players, loosely moderated by tech support.4: We've found Kunark, the Frogloks are free, Kunark is back, Neriak is found, can we *please* tick the world forward a step so that NPC's wishing for return of the gods, or for "Tunare to answer us", or longing for Kelethin, or asking for help to free their Froglok bretheren, or with references to coming off the boat from the idle of refuge, etc. move on with their lives? It's EXTREMELY jarring to immersion to have NPC's that are apparently unaware of the changes in the world around them.5: There's a spot for mariners bells in the Elddar grove that for whatever reason were never populated. Can we add bells there so those of us on the factions in there can go directly there rather than running through umpteen zones?

Okay, since most my other suggestions were about mechanics and such I "think" I found one that doesn't have to do with mechanics but, is so annoying for more people.Items don't queue!Please make them queue, just like spells and combat arts.

In order of greatest hatred to least:1. Lack of dual-core support.2. Teren's Grasp sucks for loading. 200 rendering distance FTL.3. /load_uisettings loads you with chat channels from another character, which never go away (Ex. new level 1 character /loads UI settings from a level 80 character and is stuck with "You can't join [channel] because you're weak! go away!" multiple times upon login FOREVER! and it messes up your channel numbers.)4. WHY THE HELL do most male alternate models look like they've been making out with a hot stove element?? Fix those lips!5. ShadowMunkie's post reminded me...ITEMS DON'T QUEUE!6. Housing is broken as hell, and it's almost impossible to actually make use of bookshelves. To my knowledge this has been an issue since launch, and it's really annoying if you collect books.7. SoE's developers. (This is actually #1, but I'm half-joking, so I'll put it down here.)I'll sleep on it and probably come back tomorrow with about 12 more issues.

- Exp potions shouldn't use up vitality faster- TS vitality gets eaten up a bit too fast- The default UI journal should have a vertical mode- If you use Save and Load on the options screen, chat font sizes get mucked with- Love the idea of an easier way to manage custom channels (assign to mult windows, change numbers, etc. can already do this, just want an easier way)- Would like the ability to set the color of custom channels above 10

The "Tint icons if requirements are not met" setting is currently ignored and, even when cleared, continues to tint hotbar spell icons during cast and recovery. This makes it an extremely frustrating experience when trying to queue and mentally plan spells two or three steps ahead during intense combat, because the spell icons perpetually remain dark enough to conceal and confuse the displayed recast timers.This is my all-time number one frustration with the game now for months.Rothgar wrote:
