Coming back after 9 months. should I reroll?

I have a lvl 33 coercer, 28 troub, and 28 defiler. They all have about 8-10 AAs. Should I reroll or continue on? Have spells changed for the coercer or troub? Advice appreciated.

you can easily make up the AAs so I wouldn't worry about that.

However, I would reroll if I were you only to simply go through Temorious Deep (sp) and check out that quest line (and the god like noob stat armor that is better than lvl 30 armor).

If you lvl through TD, you'll be lvl 20 in one day. It's the new lvl 10. You'll go through it FAST and youll leave that area at lvl 19-20 with about 14 AA.

Spells hasn't change but some level perks have and Im sure you'll have to recheck them (Hit L and browse through character progression)

Even if you stick with one of those because you enjoy the class, I'd suggest rolling a new character just to get the feel for the game again. A lot has changed. I personally wouldn't worry about catching up on AAs, but for some folks it means more to get them as fast as possible. The AA bit and the class choice would be purely at your discretion, but I would just suggest a new character to reacquaint yourself with the game.Welcome back!Edit: Krysalia types faster than I do ;p

also, just to make note, you dont need to start in TD to do their quests...you dont even have to be evil

If you good do this:

1. Go from the island to the boat(dont lvl).

2. Go to Qeynos Harbor and take the carpet to Sinking Sands

3. From Sinking Sands go to butcherblock mountains (or Gorowyn if they haven't removed that option)

4. If to Butcherblock run down the beach line until you see a sandy ramp (about 400 yards West from the docks on the beach)...not the dock ramp. You'll see a god ugly colored gryphon. Take it to Gorowyn (city)

5. In Gorowyn. From docks run through the bottom of the undercity. Take the elevator to the top most upper level. Run down lower ramp and then "cable platform" to take you across the abyss onto the otherside of Gorowyn.

6. Run out of Gorowyn and then follow path until you see some NPCs and a gryhpon station (roped ladder)

7. Take that to Chykori Beach (sp)

8. From Chykori beach run across the little staged battle and down some roped ladders and then run towards the ocean. You'll find the first NPC with the quest symbol above his head

Thx for replies. What is TD? Is it Kunark? If so I don't hvae it yet. I really like erudites and my defiler and coercer. I also am thinking about trying out a warden.

oo you dont have the latest expansion?

Its a great expansion you should look into it.

I dont think the spells have changed as much as the AA and class/race perks

This *might* be true for a caster that can root/nuke or use a pet, but for any melee class, this is patently false. Sure the stats are good on the armor, but the mitigation is crap. My brigand swapped to wearing her AQ armor as she got it replacing the TD armor. And my mystic I put in MC at level 22.

Stats aren't the only thing that make a piece "good."

Granted, I didn't replace any jewelry until 32, but that's becuz jewelry is stat-only. Armor. . . you'll definitely want to replace it sooner if you're a melee character, else the low mitigation will give you abominable survivability.

And the turquoise is just awful! I couldn't wait to get my baby SK to 20 just so I could put something in the appearance slot!

Keep in mind that the OP's highest character is level 33. Which would lead me to believe that MC armour isn't an option (too expensive). As a new player myself I found the plate armour from quests and drops in TD lasted me all the way up to level 30. Heck, I even used the 2h hammer up until 30 as well.

The stats and mitigation was much better than any other drops I found off of TD.

Even if you are sticking with your current charcters, it is well worth your while to go to TD (yes, you must have RoK) and mentor someone who is level 1-5ish, and do all the quests there from the start. This will catch you up in AA's as well as net you some gear that will likely be better than the higher level stuff you currently have. (the TD gear teens-20something, is better than most old-world stuff up to level 30ish)

Yeah, I would just start with the ones at Gorowyn beach, which are around level 10 or 11. That's where you'll start getting the 2nd set of gear and AA. And that way you don't have to mess with getting to the starting part of Chrykori Island.

Pfft. I took a year off once, missed DoF and KoS launches, and I didn't re-roll.If you have good guildies or friends who didn't leave, you have all you need to learn what's new.But alts are always fun. SMILEY

i sugguest u can reroll bcz its vey easy to get the satus of your character now and to get a new starting is another experiences , that is very nice
