Group-Heals Without Effect

Hi there,Fighting solo, in groups, and on raids casting my group-heals I lately quite often get a notice that the spell doesn't have an effect, even if I'm the only druid in the group (or the only healer). Well, I understand that our regens do not stack, but this also affects the direct group heal. Even though, I think most - if not all of the time - the heal gets through anways. Is there maybe some proc (like the CoA pants and boots with the ward-Proc) that might affect that or triggers the message into my spell progession bar? Anyways, I get the message without those item proccing quite often.Also, my racial AoE (yes, I'm a beer lovin' Dwarf) often shows there are no targets in range, even if I'm fighting a handful of mobs in melee skirmish. And that one then certainly does not hit anything and the timer doesn't black out. Might that be connected? My melee-spec AoE doesn't have that problem, though.So, do you maybe have any idea why this might be? Yes, I'm an experienced player, but somehow this makes me nervous. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have noticed that message alot latley ... Thought it was Reflexive regeneration from my Battle druid helmet though. After i got that is when i started noticing it.

The ward you mentioned could be doing it or maybe an overloaded heal, Dont know whats up with your aoe though? Could it be getting resisted? and by some glitch ~thats how it tells you , **shrug** atleast its not burning the timer ...

What type of dmg does it do? And whats your skill lvl at for it?

I have a crushing dmg knock down barbarian trait , But my skill is always +60ish when ive used it .... Cant say ive ever seen it resisted on the dmg , but the knock down has been ... and ive always burned my timer when i used it.

Sorry my answer took so long, but atm I'm havin lots of things to do in RL ;(As I don't have the Battle druid helmet there may be various other procs that might result in this message. RoK is so full of nice procs. Well, it's not hurting to get the message but each and every time it makes me a bit nervous, though.About my racial AoE: I inspected it and it doesn't give a hint of the ability used. Probably just uses my applying melee skill. The damage type ist stated as "melee damage".At the moment I equip the Soulfire Hammer and my crushing skill is maxed. When I solo of course I cast Instinct for myself, so it should be uber enough to hit about anything in the game. But I don't think it's only about the skill. Sometimes if I move or the mobs move I hit them after previously having missed (which I don't do if nobody in the fight moves and I just try again). Maybe only one or two, but there is definitely no message about miss, parry, or resist message for the ones I don't hit. So it really may happen that it burns my timer (and it's at 2 minutes, casting time being 2 seconds) to hit one opponent out of a maximum of 4 for the spell. *shrugs* Maybe I should just write a bug report, as I am noticing this since the skill was introduced SMILEY

Is that maybe a front-AoE ? I know i often had that with my zerker and always thought what the heck, since i was so used to the full-circle AoEs from my SK.

I don't remember anything like that from the spell description, but ist's also very brief. Also, I recall targets right in front of me not getting hit. I'll have a look at it, but at the moment I seriously doubt it. Another dwarf commenting on this one might help, but I'll give feedback by tonight. Promised.EDIT: Ok, I just inspected it and it says dealing damage in my surrounding, no mentioning of being directional. Thanx for the thought anyways.

Well thank you , although im not sure if you have much of the forum agreeing with you. Maybe its cuz we both luv beer.

Avielle on the other hand ,I think appeals to a much wider variety of forum visitors.

ps: whats the name and introductory description on your racial aoe? *curious*

So I'll give the German text and my translation in the hope of getting corrected by somebody in case I screw up:Wut der KlingenEin Nahkampfangriff, der es einem Zwerg ermöglicht, Feinden in der Umgebung geringen Schaden zuzufügenFury of bladesA melee attack that enables a dwarf to deal a small amount of damage to enimies in his proximity/surroundingIt has an effect radius of 10 meters and can affect a maximum of 4 targets. In full healing gear it hits for 349-523, but as it usually crits I rarely see numbers below 600. In case I get to see numbers.
