![]() Some of you may remember me posting pics of the eatery serving counter I made. After a couple of weeks fiddling with it some more, I decided to take it down and try to make it even better. It wasn't very roomy behind the counter, and my Provie couldn't face customers while she cooked. I RP with her a lot, so this turned out to be important. Here's the result of my second attempt. I had to remove all but one table to make room for it, but the counter itself can now be sat at. This is much closer to the original "lunch counter" idea I had for Disha's eatery. After an hour or two of fiddling, I worked out how to perfectly center large Qeynosian barrels on top of the pearl floor lamps. I like this effect much better than the previous version. Without the barrels, the structure didn't look sturdy, and you could see the candles in the lamps. I also like the way the roundness of the posts continues up into the overhead storage via the barrels. The barrels also made setting up the teak bookcase much easier, since I didn't have to perfectly align each side's corners. Here's the other side. I hadn't placed the sales pantries on their shelves yet. I've done something here I'm kinda proud of. I've hidden my Elaborate Stove & Keg in the corner there, behind the backwards river stone hearth, standing in for some stonework. Since we no longer have to target or even face the crafting station, I can just stand Disha on the stool there, and cook away. I can still see the numbers as they come up, but the annoying crafting table name tag is no where in sight! Yay! Here's a high shot of the whole thing. And here's a high shot of the back, for those curious about how it's put together. Now I'm completely happy with it. Just need to find something nice to go over the center of the counter front. The painting I had there in the other version doesn't fit now, so I'm looking over my options.

![]() Disha recently had a Gnomish tinkered freezerator installed! Ice for the drinks and frozen treats for everyone!

That's really lovely. I shudder to think of lining up all those teak bookcases though.

This whole place is gorgeous! One touch in particular that really appeals to me is how you've hidden your elaborate stove and keg. I find being able to see the name tag to be kind of annoying too. I may have to steal that idea from you! Great job!
