Twas' the day before Frostfell and all through the servers, all adventurers are stirring, creating a fervor!Decorations are hung 'round the cities with careeven garments added for adventurers to wear.

Wardrobes had been added to all starting cities, for tradeskilling players to whip up new pretties. To enter that zone opens such possibility,to create food stuffs, house items and other utility!

Even Neriak has seen some festive addition, their dark hearts though, have changed that tradition.Queen Christanos has deemed the holiday just, that Frostfell be observed, no matter the disgust.

In Overlord's Freeport, the trimmings have returned,And for fun the snowmen are close to be burned!A creature of candy is crawling from court, with four huge candy-legs to seek adventurers for sport!

In Qeynos the holiday has returned once againwith many wreathed doors and candy cane lanes! The claymore has even seen festive dressing, since Queen Antonia has given full blessing!

The city of Gorowyn has seen an inclusion,of Frostfell decorations causing quite a confusion. The Sarnak aren't used to such frivolous attire, being serious-minded with military desire.

Frostfell is coming. For that, there's no doubt. No starting city on Norrath shall go without! But it's not here forever, enjoy while it's hereFrostfell will be 'round until the end of this year.

Does this mean Frostfell has gone live or still on Test?

Either way, ah love the preview of the Neriak decorations (loves me that snowman with swords in it's back SMILEY) FP looks good, with the Snow-Overlord looking out over the Execution Plazza SMILEY (would have been cooler, imo, to have a giant snowman trying to climb out of the pit SMILEY)

And nice to see even Gorowyn gets the decorating treatment SMILEY

I had to go kinda conservative this Frostfell, I'm up to the item wall on my House limit (500 is not enough) .  Still, Happy Frostfell if your a Norrathian of the Ro System, if your a Terran of the Sol System Merry Christmas

Here's a suggestion for next year.. wouldnt it fit better to have the frostfell tree in Freeport be dried up, barren.. with sparking/malfunctioning lights? hahaha

neriak's should be on blue fire, gorowyn's should be like  a tropical tree, kelethin should be influenced by mega growth.

Keep in mind that it's the Gigglegibbers that are bringing the flavor back 'round, not necessarily the leadership of the respective cities.  Freeport may be a little run-down, but I imagine that even the cold heart of Lucan would grow 3 sizes bigger during the festive time of Frostfell.  If there was a lifeless, malfunctioning tree in his city, I imagine he'd personally flay alive those that'd try.

He may be a terrible, evil tyrant hellbent on the leadership of the entirety of Norrath... but he likes him some Frostfell.

yup, yup.

No self-respecting dictator would ever let his cities lie as filthy as Freeport does, let alone have dehydrated trees.

Since some of you guys are talking about Freeport! I have question to ask of a Dev that can answer me as to why since the rain effects were added in long time ago why are trees still dried up in Freeport? Also something else that has bugs me how over the years outer cities havn't had any improvments made on them? Shouldn't Lucan want to make his city grow so he can get more poor souls to take from?

You mean the quest that sends a lvl 1 to and through t3/t4 zones? Zones full of creatures just waiting to eat low lvl characters

And there have been people who have completed that quests and still continue to get that SoE-sanctioned spam

You mean the zones with almost complete safe paths to travel on?  Yeah those SMILEYAnd I see in today's hotfix that McScroogle's finally feeling a slow down from all the attacks.

Even on PvE it isn't 100% safe, you don't enter on a path and and there are wanderers on the path near the enterance my T2 got coyote wacked 2 times and I don't mean the one who will dance nekid for loot either.

Well no, it's not 100% safe, but ask anyone harvesting with an under-adv toon, it's quite doable if you're cautious.  Anyone remember the run from Kelethin to the Butcherblock Docks in EQ1?  Ah, nostalgia!Spydie:  That's the price ya pay for PvP, sugar!

Ok, found out a way to safely get across BBM even at lvl 1 (never would have thought of going via the chessboard SMILEY), even possibly getting to Gnomeland Security (if you watch out for the coyote and spiderlings and time the wandering kobold groups) but are you seriously saying a lvl 1 could get to the Gnome Hole Cover outside Klak`Anon without serious help?

Took mah lvl 50 assassin, stuck to the roads and still came close to some lvl 40+ mobs (including a still aggro 41 spider just before you get to the GHC)

Figured a possible way to do it (but how many low lvl newbies would know about the sorcerer ports to GFay and to know about CoH as a safe way around Steamfont?)
