Still having major problems. It seems to start when I use the /camp OtherCharacter command (instead of just /camp). I freeze when the alt is zoning in (Receiving zone info) or it boots me to char select, where I see a popup flash and go away so fast I can't read it, then the game crashes to desktop. Then trying to log back into the game, I either get the same sequence, or I get stuck at Receiving zone info. Over and over and over.Wow, one of the most frustrating things I've had to deal with in any game I've ever played.

Add Unrest server to the group! Also having the broker lag problem too! It's down completely right now cant even log in. I noticed they are taking all the servers at 4 AM tonight, maybe that's hope cause it's not the normal 7 AM that usual things are done. Crossing my fingers.

Doh, I hope hope hope hope hope that one day IT will be fixed! Zoning-Server down-Linkdead problems - isn't it the reason to wake up and do smth with it?! Just crafting and gone LD in proccess - Nagafen is down right now (hah, may be just phantom Down, but I can't log in and play).

OMG!!!! I just tried zoning to BB and got kicked to desk top. I got back in but all my hotbars were empty (7 total), after I finished freaking out I realized that my chat window wasn't working. Actually everything stopped working. So I rebooted my puter thinking it was something on my end and now I can't get back in. It puts me in char select with onloy 4 of my 10 alts (panic time), then when I hit play, I get kicked to my desktop again.

I am on Butcherblock server and can someone please hand me a case of tissues ....Someone help me please!!???

Shadowtzer, don't panic! Alts can dissapear while server is down, they will appear again when it'll up! Trust me SMILEY

BUT! Wake up! Fix it please! We all have this pronlems for more than 2 weeks!!

I am on Venekor and I have had this problem since the LoN release back in September...seems like 7-8 times out of 10, I get booted back to desktop when I zone, but it sticks my character in the world anyways...

Seems like everytime I zone into efp or cl, I get booted and cant get back in ...There was one day when I tried 20+ times to log back in after zoning to cl and got kicked...I finally gave up, then tried to log back in several hours later with same issue...

This is something that needs to be addressed before any more new content is released...

All this is happening to me too, I get stuck on 'Receiving Zone Info' then get kicked back to character select screen. Lets hope it's sorted out soon cos right now it's just unplayable.

Same problem on Butcherblock. This is an expansion issue. It takes forever to zone. Sometimes I have a black screen for 2 minutes before the zone in begins. Zoning was pretty fast before the expansion.Also the lag on the broker is incredible now. I buy an item and it takes up to 30 seconds for the item to appear in my bag. I've bought multiples of stuff because of thinking it didn't accept my click.

It is happening to me and a few guildies on Butcherblock.

I DO NOT have RoK yet and I still have the problem when zoning and hanging on "Loading Zone Info". If I exit the game when it hangs and log back in, it takes me to my destination.

Its been happening to me too on Unrest. Lastnight I couldn't log on 5 times and I was stuck in Loading Environment settings. I tried to do something else to see if it will let me on and it worked. I did full file scan and I got into the game try athat it might work SMILEY

I've not had any troubles at all, until today, when I discovered the broker lag inside the Willow Wood tradeskill instance. When last I saw my character, he was trying to zone out of the instance into WW; I had to log out to get away from my pending transaction, then when I tried to zone, I got stuck & crashed.

No problems at all zoning anywhere else in ROK, tho I've noticed that if I'm grouped with someone, it takes me longer to zone in some places than when I'm soloing.

I have run full file scan too many times to count...ive reinstalled the game twice (full patches)...I bought a new graphic card and sound card...updated all drivers and direct x drivers...got my local dsl guy to come check my connecton...ive run every anti-virus,spyware,registry program I have...I have done everything I can possibly think of save reformatting my harddrive...this is definately not something on my end...

I truely believe that LoN has messed the game mechanics up for alot of people...I really hope that someone is looking into this...

I did a come back from a year break. I got my nerves break down by all those Vancrash bug. (euh Vanguard...)Now, I had installed the game Tuesday. I log in Wenesday with a Atl. I had do the freaking /camp MyMainName command. Then on zoning I got the same crap has all of you. Stucking on zoning. Then trying to be right back... then hotbars emptied... then server crash. !!!Thursday, going in... trying to zone to Kylong plains from Ant... I got CTD... then I come back... server down!!! Then, 30 minutes later... Server Locked!So... is it me CTD while zoning, that put Nektulous server down?Or the server is only down for me? I didn't read anywhere that the server was down or locked two night in a row.So, I guess I should go to my consumer protection and ask for a full refund time on all SOE waste of money so far... perhaps that will bring them on that freaking forum to explain the freaking situation.For a returning player to Eq2, it is worse than anything I have seen even, my 2 first weeks at launch. It's a shame, my Eq2 experiences was always smooth and now I pay and I can't play!Marie-Ange

I've heard of others having crazy zone times before. Not often, but occasionally. And experienced a couple of "hmmm, why is it taking me a full minute to zone?" situations. Last night, the last four toons to log in were available, but crashed upon zone-in, or the "world not found" message popped up. After over half an hour, and a bit of joking/griping on Vent, I gave it one final chance before bagging it in favor of Call of Duty 4 and was rewarded by a normal login, followed by normal zone times. Along with the remaining guildies on Vent. But by then, well, PvP missing one of the P's kinda sucks. Zones were empty.

Until today, I've only had a problem like this once, where I bought some stuff on the broker, waited what seemed like 4ever to get the items,then logged off cuz I had no patience anymore. I lost a couple of plat outta that deal but I was willing to write that off.

Today is a WHOLE different story for me. When I try to zone I get stuck at 'Recieving Zone Info'. I click Disconnect after 5 min only to not be able to log in at all later. Pretty much exactly what the OP said. But it wasn't just me, my wife and at least 4 other guild memeber were having the same problems today as well.

In chat, a LOT of people were complainging about it. The OP put this here oin the 26th? and now, here we are a week later, and the problem just seems to be getting worse.

PLEASE SOE [Removed for Content] YOUR SERVERS!!!

I had the same problem of buying something off the broker and not getting it. It happened Thursday. Still waiting for someone to touch the Petition.

My wife was just now zoning, and got the "Receiving Zone Info". I am unable to login due to the same problem. Have Exited... back, exited, back.

Someone is screwing the pooch on this fiasco!

Come on It is not just me and i just came back(have been in since beta) because i had hoped alot of things technically have changed and they have not. VERY POOR customer service. I hate the new petition web based system. I prefer the que that use to be in game. the zoning today i think i had to close client 20 times today and my server(whcih i know your aware of is down alot) Antonia Bayle VERY annoying.

And not a response from GM/DEV getting annoying guys a little response from the employees that are being paid by our money would help. *rant off* just annoyed this is a issue in 2007.

When I zone, I spend ten minutes zoning. No, it is not my computer, nor my connection. On normal days it takes me 5 to 20 seconds at most to zone. I've been frozen at loading screens 7/10 times I've tried today, and whenever I attempt to log in, it's very rare that I do actually get in. And then I have to zone, and I get booted off.Fix the [Removed for Content] servers, sony. This is getting old.

This is getting completely out of hand. There is no need of this happening. It's SONY for crying out loud! Obviously have the money, just not willing to spend it. So much for Sony being the Innovation Company. Well, they have invented some interesting new ways to make me stop playing again, such as, I can't play!I said it before and I will say it again. Sony should have to reimburse every account on any server that has downtime (other than Scheduled maintenance and upgrades) for every minute the server is not available.The whole reason Sony does not care, is the simple fact they have no responsibility or obligation to their clients. Gotta love their user agreement.

I agree on this time one. It's out of control. I spend an average of 10 mins waiting to zone. It's been unplayable all weekend. It has never been this bad. You would of thought that they would of had teams working through the weekend to fix it. Keeping us updated. Geez, I remember when the consignment system went down. They were keeping us update-to-date on when it was going to be back up.

Just fix it or keep us informed of the current state because atm..it's the worse state of the game since it started. You can't play it.

Yes their User Agreement get them out of alot. And even if it did not most do not read it.(I do have learned over the 13+ years of playing these game you need to before going off). truly they wonder why they do not lead in this genre and it is not because of the game itself...it is because of the poor customer service lack of dedication to their equipment.

Well I think every MMO I've played (from UO on) has had a "no guaranteed uptime" clause. Heck most isp's have one.. unless you're a business account.

However, I do read enough to know many games I don't play.. do offer extra days as compensation. If this was a rare issue (which it used to be) then I wouldn't see it as a problem.

This just hasn't been rare for a while now. It seemed they had improved it for a bit and now its as bad as it was before.

ok, but i have a diff zoning issue, on some of my characters, like my main lvl 31, its gets stuck at "loading UI resources for like 3 minutes after i try to log into the character, but then it logs me in, ok. But i cannot play the character. He has no health, mana, or buffs. I cannot interaact with anything, people or items. It auto logs me out back to char select screen within 2 min. Anyone have an advice or same issue?

And even if it did not most do not read it.(I do have learned over the 13+ years of playing these game you need to before going off). truly they wonder why they do not lead in this genre and it is not because of the game itself...it is because of the poor customer service lack of dedication to their equipment.

Well I think every MMO I've played (from UO on) has had a "no guaranteed uptime" clause. Heck most isp's have one.. unless you're a business account. However, I do read enough to know many games I don't play.. do offer extra days as compensation. If this was a rare issue (which it used to be) then I wouldn't see it as a problem. This just hasn't been rare for a while now. It seemed they had improved it for a bit and now its as bad as it was before.

Arctrast Apprentice Join Date: Dec 2007 Posts: 4	ok, but i have a diff zoning issue, on some of my characters, like my main lvl 31, its gets stuck at "loading UI resources for like 3 minutes after i try to log into the character, but then it logs me in, ok. But i cannot play the character. He has no health, mana, or buffs. I cannot interaact with anything, people or items. It auto logs me out back to char select screen within 2 min. Anyone have an advice or same issue?
