Move 15 metres... slideshow... wait for loading... move 15 metres... slideshow... wait for loading... etc etc...That's on a SataII 300Mb/sec drive with 2GB DDR2 800Mhz memory.  Raid0 might help a little.Game settings are such that nearly all prior zones (with a few exceptions) are smooth and have no issues, I've had two crashes in the last ten minutes both when heavy disk access is occuring.Might just be my system of course, anybody else?

I agree. Move away from the Docks area in Kylong Plains. It was a similar expirence for me in the beta that the dock area, when heavily populated, has a lot of lag issue. Get your quests by the docks and then head out away from the docks and do all the quests to completion before heading back to turn-in. It makes it more reasonable until you can finally get out of the dock area. It's going to be like this for a while I can imagine at least until everyone's reached 80/140 and have conquered all the raid zones again before the population starts to disappear again.

Actually, zone streaming is awesome..My computer is pretty bad... I have and old AGP vid card (that's actually not so bad)but 2 gig of DDR (not DDR2) memory that has proven to hardly let Hellgate:london run..a pentium D processor that benchmarks pretty low..so far in Timorous Deep, the game is [Removed for Content] smooth. Textures are at max.. i can't run shadows and crap like that, but I never could. But I get all the particle effects and I'm in awesome shape. I love the huge new zones.. it's the best.

I've got an old dimension 8400 with geforce 7900 gs 256mb, 3.25gb of ram, and 3.0ghz and im running good besides when im Kylong Docks.the Kylong docks problem only happens because there are a lot of players, or because of all the boats, zoning, etc., code in it.

First thing I did was to get away from the docks...  made no difference.Just logging in now to see if it was just sheer volume of people.
