Burglars afoot broken?

Hi all,

I recently completed the Burglars Afoot quest (second in the claymore line) and did not receive the 'disk of bylze', which is required to start the next quest in the series. I have petitioned about this, and the reply was that the devs are aware of the problem and I should keep an eye on the forums for an upcoming fix.

So here I am! Does anyone know when the fix is due to be implemented?

Don't worry about it. Thanks to the 2-second examine changes it is now impossible to complete the "Riddle of the Vault" quest in Sanctum, hence it is now impossible to complete Claymore. Since you cannot 'cast' while on a wall, and the things you need to examine are also on that wall... well you're SoL.

Me and my hubby did this quest last night, and didnt get the disk either. We /petitioned and got the item from a GM very quickly (within the hour).

Just wonderful hearing about the next broken part in it.. UGH!

edit: forgot to say in the email we got from the GM they said that it is a known issue and they are working on a fix. but that was about the Burglar's Afoot rewards... I hope they are working on a fix for the rest of it.

i compleated the quest some time ago...it seems i have , uhh.. "misplaced" my disk.

should i petetion for a new one or dose anyone have another idea?

Bah . My petition has been classed as solved, without the disk being given to me! Guess I will have to petiton again tonight.

Make sure it's not in your overflow inventory, that's where mine and my husbands appeared when we got our disks from the GM. Double check your inventory and bank to make sure sure it's not there, and I guess the only thing you can do is repetition.

Unaware that the quest was broken, I completed the quest last night. I, too, did not get the Disk. Petitioned as the others did and got the same response. Keep an eye out for a fix. I don't understand why a GM can't verify that I completed the quest and issue me the Disk. Guess it's not that simple.

Hey guysI also completed this quest with my Monk tonight/today and didnt recieve the disk of blyze .. I have petitioned so Im waiting to see what happens. 8 /has anyones issue been resolved yet?

I petitioned that I hadn't received it and a short time later it was in my overflow slot. I checked my e-mail and saw a message that it was a known issue and they were issuing me the disc. So at least some of them do have the authority to get you your disc.

GAMEPLAY

The Disk of Blyze should now be properly received upon completion of Burglars Afoot.
Fixed an error causing dual wielders to get an improved proc chance
Fixed an issue that was causing an extra delay between when you pressed a key and the hotkey was triggered.
Changing group looting modes while a loot lotto is running will properly stop the lotto.

So I see this has been fixed so how do I get my Disk? /petition for it (again)? If that's the case then why in the heck couldn't they have just issued it to me when I petitioned the first time. The response from Customer Service was that they were aware of the issue and to watch the forums for when a fix had been implemented for it. Ok so now a fix has been implemented for it, will it appear in my overflow slot when I log in tonight? Will I have to go back and re-loot the chest in TT? Go speak to some other NPC who will give it to me?

Can anyone verify if the fix put in today will automatically issue the Disk to those who did not receive it previously upon quest completion. Thanks in advance.

For what it's worth, I went back and re-looted the chest at the end of the quest and received the Disk.
