Ye gods, I remember when SoL went live, about 2 weeks before Xmas too.  People were calling it SoL for reasons other than the expansion name.  *chuckles*
heh i was referring to the fact i love luclin and i want an actual expansion with it, but i know about the sol issues, so it works out =p

Got this one from the test server where the spell consolidation changes are being worked on. Apparently all aggressive spells will be consolidated into one spell and all defensive spells will also be consolidated into one spell.Heres a screenshot of a typical PvP fight of an assassin versus a paladin;And I think this represents what most of the peeps working on fixing the problems feel right now;

where are the actual info on those? they arent listed on the network status link of the front page
As explained By kirstie earlier, The European servers counts as their own realm, you can actually create 6 characters on the EU servers and another 6 on the U.S servers. However I've been told that they probably will at least make sure we know if we are up or down by adding us to the network status page eventually. But as is, only way for us Euros to find out if we are up is to try to log in..
uh sorry to correct you but normal accounts have 7 lol, and its 7 EU 7 US and 7 test =) i would have them all but my computer sadly doesnt have the hard drive space <--- SA with 11 characters holding out on the 12th for rok

C'mon folks, please keep it clean.  A lil' smudgey or dusty, I'll let slip...

In the meantime, ensure that you're checking the official thread I've been updating about this situation.

Well true, some militaries don't really fight for the freedom and rights of thier citizens...they work for the government against it :-p

I would say the worst patch is waiting on the current test server.  There will be a two second delay when you examine an item (such as a legend lore book)  If you are stealthed, this makes you VISIBLE.   I really hope this never sees the light of day live.

I'm proud of the men and women who serve in the military for doing what they do, but not the big wigs that send them off to do the wrong things.

Nope all negative. Presumptions never are good. speaking for others either. I usualy only speak for myself so this is my perspective and not meant to encompass everyone SMILEY I fight for things that make sense and are truthful. I wouldnt' be proud of myself if I didn't I'd probably think I wasn't too bright. Anyway this is hardly the forum for this I just didn't want to be included in the all encompassing we there. Sorry bout that. When I was 7 I was proud my budgie was able to reach and eat the peanut butter. It died though so the pride went away fast.

I am glad i stepped away from the computer for 8 hours but I'm shocked the servers are still down this is wild stuff. I am tryign to remember if I can recall ever seeing servers down this long on any mmporg. I dont' think I can and I played eq1 for 5 years but I do have a horrible memory so no idea.

It happened once, last year? The servers were down for a long time, it was because they did a roll back and offered a day free to everyone, something like this. Look ugly if they are down that long.

Thanks for the consistent updates.  It helps to really feel like folks are working on the problem.   Yes I have the official thread in another window and am refreshing it, wondering if my server is going to be the last one up hah.

..in the meantime, nudge whoever you need to in order to get more ore popping when the server is back up hah.  Too many tradeskills use it, and not enough to go around.

Calling sweeden bassackwards isn't very nice.... go check out http://thepiratebay.org/legal and how much 'respect' they pay those laws

I mean being blatent about it like they are is one thing... but posting the legal threats from companies and smart [Removed for Content] remarks is just insane... they must be VERY confident in their case.

Eve, WOW, DAOC, EQ . . . all in my experience have had longer downtimes than today.  Heck, EQ used to go down for the better part of a week whenever they released an expansion (Kunark, anyone?).  Isn't it amazing how much time you find you have when you cannot log in to your particular game? SMILEY.
