TBH I doubt this has anything to do with LoN since these issues seem to be completely unrelated to the game. I cant see how buffs disappearing, quests not counting as being done and so on have anything to do with it. If my backpack had suddenly filled up with booster packs then I might have had a slight inkling something was up.

Rollback 2.0 is eminent. Server is down again. We should all just stay logged off for a few days in protest.

Was playing for a while and heard about some of the outstanding issues and considered logging out as I dont fancy redoing stuff for a third time if there happens to be another rollback. Then servers went down again. Think its safer just not to play until tomorrow as there obviously was a huge messup with the patch.Starting to really dislike this LoN. Whatever is said about it not being the reason for the extended downtimes since it was added to the live servers, one cannot help but notice that since it appeared, patches and hotfixes have not gone well at all.

I am really disappointed in SoE with the lack of information about Runnyeye server - are we not important enough to register on the network status list? Then again if items are being faded on the brokers of the USA servers after the rollback and hotfix, then I for one am glad that we are seemingly lower on the priority list for things like hotfixes and patches because this multi-server issue seems really nasty and i'd prefer us not to be affected by it. I feel sorry for the USA peeps nowsYours,Doomguard TX'SqueakinatorRatonga Guardian
Does this mean Runnyeye isn't affected by the problems and it isn't necessary to roll it back ?Also, why can't they have a network status page for the international servers too!

atm i am on live chat support asking for an explanation as to why runnyeye and splitpaw are not being informed re the downtime =)

Cool. Let us know what you come up with.Edit: read your convo on last page. Wasn't very helpful of the GM. SMILEY<img src=" width="15" height="15" />

One moment please, while I read your question.TSR Nick M.: Unfortunately, the above server is still down? You: if it is still down, then why is the info which is being displayed on the eq2 players home page not correct? You: if it is not you whom i raise this with, please can you give me the details of the person who i need to contact.TSR Nick M.: The server have been released by the developers and it is being tested.TSR Nick M.: Due to which it had been locked. You: why is my server not considered important enough to be mentioned on the network status page?TSR Nick M.: All the servers are important to us.TSR Nick M.: I apologize for any inconvenience that might caused to you. You: well if that is the case, then why are runnyeye and splitpaw not being mentioned on the network status page? You: and if this is an oversight, please rectify immediately, so the players who use these servers know they are important.TSR Nick M.: It is not mentioned on the page as the server have been released by developers.TSR Nick M.: It is being tested and will be released after short time. You: We do not know that this is the case. When we look at the network status page, we expect to see real time info, not unreasonabvly either. So obviously this info is not real time. Bearing in mind that at the moment the info on this page currently reads You: All servers are up except for The Bazaar Mistmoore Oasis Antonia Bayle You: and this is very misleading and in accurateTSR Nick M.: It takes time to update the information on the website.TSR Nick M.: Is there anything else I can assist you with today? You: please tell me what the point is in havinbg a network status page if it is not accurate and up to date for the player?TSR Nick M.: I understand your concern, I would suggest you to send us a feedback email regarding this issue. You: why? I have already given you the feedback!!!!TSR Nick M.: Okay.TSR Nick M.: Is there anything else I can assist you with today? You: Yes, please tell me you will pass my feedback on to the relevant area so that the network status page will show accurate and real time information.TSR Nick M.: Okay.

Haha, Nick is nailed I think =)

Ok, Broker bug or not, this is rediculous.  They did the roll back to 7AM -- So they SHOULD have put in the old code, that had very little/minor bugs.  Then worked on this current fubared code next week.  I assume they will attempt to 'fix' whatever bugs are major enough to pull the servers down for the third time today.  Which, will take time, hours again, perhaps.
.
.
Even if its a short time till the fix, they need to compensate with double experience,.. this is starting to get to a point where many hours have been wasted for just about anyone who has played today for any length of time.   Not to mention the frustration factor.
.
.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for SOE and the developers, not bashing them.  I would just think the most logical choice would be to implement known working code for the weekend, and work on known 'non-working' code during the week.  Only makes sense imo.  Friday during primetime is NOT the time to be 'developing' code with the servers down.  The 'patch' isn't THAT urgent that it has to be fixed and applied today, ya know?
.
Don't take my post wrong, I'm not upset or mad.. hehe.. Just digressing a bit =).
Take care,

Because the last time I was in chat and there were problems you honestly could not see *anything* except a gazillion people typing "OMGZ da serverz!" and "My mother is a hamster" one line per millisecond.

Moderating it means you can at least see what the devs are saying.

This is becoming laughable. I have today off and just want to play. This is asking just way too much I guess.

It just baffles my mind that they cannot find people capable of running these servers. Test the patch before deployment? Restore backup when patch does not work? Why is this so hard?

They need penalties for failure. That is the problem. They will eventually fix this problem and nothing bad comes of it other than a few lost subscrpitions. People need to know if they are not able to perform their job they will be replaced. You can get amazing results with that kind of motivation.

ok I guess i'm not done...

The thing is, over these last few weeks with these updates and quick fixes it's even more irratating that SOE will not have someone update us on status and ETA.  No news is not good news, especially when ppl's play time is scheduled and not an all day affair for them.   If they would just communicate with us on a regular basis, during these times it would go a long way to stifle the flames.  Things happen, mistakes are made, it's understandable.  But let us know whats going on and not ignore us.  And before anyone says it, I am not saying that a tech has to come in to the forums and hold our hands and take away from the fix time.  But someone could.  Anyone would be better than no communication.

No Galatee's shift was up so she left to go home. Looks like the last thing she did before logging out was mod the room.  Prolly not the best idea tho.

You missed the point of my post -- actually, you just showed that you lack comprehension. I will reiterate: a person came in, moderated the chat, then LEFT. There is NO point in having a chat if you're going to keep it moderated when no devs are even speaking.Do you understand that, now?
