That was just mean....why get personal?

Thanks Kwahn. I agree. When I read what I could from the previous posts, all I could see what what was going on 3 hours ago. I know we all hope this gets fixed soon. Glad to know that it isn't an issue with my pc.

It seems that I have picked a bad time to return to EQ II.Got bored with some other MMO's and a friend said, "Why don't you give EQ II another shot, things are a lot better now"I thought, why not, what can it hurt. I DL'd the Fae trial and for 2 days I played around and it did seem different at least, if not better than what I remembered.I decided to go ahead and purchase a new copy of the game since I couldn't find my disks, and I wanted to go ahead and have all the xpacs and such anyway. I install the game earlier today only to get hit with "can't login, the servers may be down or busy, please try again in a few minutes". /sigh ..... I guess I will have to wait just a bit longer to really test it out.I have to wonder how many first time players tried to install/patch/play today and couldn't and then decided that maybe this wasn't a game they wanted to play due to a poor first impression.

Anybody have any idea just how waterproof a Dell LCD is?  I mean, just in case I have to explain it to the IT guys, I just want to show them a screenshot of the quote and blame Dell.

The annoying thing is that if we were a corporation doing business with SoE there would be service level agreements galore, and this kind of thing would warrant service points and in turn monetary recompence.  And yet we, the small people, who SoE make an absolute fortune off of do not even get the courtesey of regular updates on what is going on.

Wish I'd gone down the pub after work now!!! lol

P.S. Lasai don't even bother trying to talk to these kids.  Obviously life experience hasn't taught them manners and I'm certainly not going to try to raise this kid.. he's his own parent's problem.

Sorry to hear about you as well.  Sucks so many of us just try to log in an enjoy gaming to escape the craplacular life we got.  It never ceases to amaze me the ignorance of some people.

Either way... it's looking more and more that we won't be raiding tonight.. sucks..

My wife couldn't thank SOE enough, seriously she is very happy.  I have been away all week working and got in last night.  She had her "honey-do" list in hand lol, I was "baby I promise after a couple hours I will get on those things just let me play a bit."  So far I have and this is no lie, fixed the sink, mowed the yard, put up the NEW drapes, took out the trash and last but not least taken our son to the park.  Now if (xrosses fingers) SOE gets thier act together I'm clear all weekend!!

Its clear that you, Cordy, have no clue as to what disability is!  Just because Steven Hawkings can work disabled doesn't mean everyone with a disability can work!  I for one have a bad back and cannot lift more than 5lb!  I cannot for the life of me see what educationally challenged has anything to do with a person's disability!

Do you really think they tell us every little thing they do?  Have you never noticed your files being updated and checked the update notes and board to see that they did not post anything about it?

Still no ETA... wow this sucks.

I dont understand why they couldnt just return the servers how they were b4 the patch and let us play, then repatch on tues or whenever they get this crap fixed and repatch it then.  Could that really been that hard to do?  Must of been...

I did not mean by my post that all disabled people could work, as obviously there are varying degrees of disability, and as such varying degrees of capability in the work place.  I thought I was answering to the post by Kwahn who was obviously upset at someone suggesting that because u r disabled, then automatically you can not work.  Some disabled people are more than capable of having a fulfilling career, and some are not.  I m sorry to hear btw of your own illnesses.

So considering the lack of update notes, there was either an attempt at a ninja nerf (which has caused this zoning error) or it was LON that caused the problem. It would be nice if Sony came clean, not only over this, but just generally was honest about what they are doing, what they are considering.Instead they love to keep us in the dark, lead us down one path, then move the goalposts.  But thats for another discussion....OK, i'm offering....Time left on downtime....1 Hour  +1602 Hours  +3503 Hours  +4004 Hours  +4505 Hours  +6506 Hours  +50007 Hours  +6600.....The entire weekend -110  SMILEY

[Removed for Content] Just because you are told its not a LON issue you believe it?

I am not saying that this is, but with all the bad postings on LON do you think that they would announce that LON was the reason you cannot play right now? Because that would help turn peoples opinions around wouldnt it.... SMILEY

It's all good people, remember it's just a game, I wanted to get on as well as my wife works late Friday night but hey!

Everyone should just calm down and go outside or something, I'll be at the pool for a couple hours and will check back with y'all later.
