i know alot of dirges think we are to low of dps (me included but only a little)

so the question to all who think we parse to low, or even the ones that dont think we parse to low. is what is your dps now? and where would you like it to be?

try to use real numbers and stay away from the "id like to see a 50% increase" just say what you parse and what youd like to be parseing ie:

my dps is 600 id like to parse 1000 so +400 dps.    try and be realistic about it.

feel free to show parse info for what you do, screen shots and what not. and PLEASE DO NOT FLAME LOW PARSEING DIRGES, not everyone knows how to parse high as a dirge, simply out its an art form. one that i have yet to master (but always striveing for). you can also list what weapons you are useing and AA trees you have, maybe someone will post some info on how you can raise your dps with out just begging the Devs for an increase.

would also love to see some of the apex dirges post there parse/dps info i know some like Kall are some leet dps and even a little info from you guys can go a long way.

here are some screen shots from EH the other night (ACT is the parser i run). some are second floor trash 2 are nameds healed i dpsed lower then normal cause of an add, treeah still working out how to parse higher on that fight. thescreen shot of the parse on the 42k dps shows only the bards seeing as that is all i parse, the names above it where the low end of the top ten from the guild parser. i hope this shows that bards can do decent dps (again i think we need a little help) and i know there are bards that make mine look bad.

Do you guys have the parser set for extended DPS?  I don't have any pictures but I have gotten 1k once or twice and it is pretty easy to get above 600 on a moderate lasting mob.  To get those higher marks though I have to work my [Removed for Content] off.  Ad 3 -mastered dirge,  mostly kos fabled, no eof yet =/.

I usually do about 700-800 zone wide but I'm almost always in the MT group so I can't run all my offensive buffs.  My dirge is my alt and is mostly mastered but is only in KoS fabled, mostly nightchord, so I'm sure I'm on the low end for people here.  I can spike up to about 1300 in a fight but my best zone-wide is about 1k from one of the few times I was in a melee DPS group instead of MT group.  I'd be happy with Mercury's numbers (on a zone-wide parse).

if you look at the ACT screenshots they show both char dps and ext dps and yes we parse out EXT dps

###DISCLAIMER####

---The question has to many nuances, and my answer is given with this knowledge in the background. ---

My personal oppinion is that our dps should be upped, not so much for raid dps (but also) but more so for solo game play.

If I would not take rezzu duty on me I bet I can parse most zones close to 1k. (in any case over 800) Thats in a raid where many warriors parse over 1K and some healers also. Most other scouts parse closer to or over 2K, with the mages between 1.5-2K. (mages depend on troubadour availlability) (all these are ZW).

So I guess I personally should parse just over the warriors and healers, but well below the pure dps classes. Of course this is after LU 76 where all utility of the dps classes will go to the dirges and makes us the gods we deserve to be.

So lets just make the immaginary statement that SOE decided that we should do about 40 % less then equally equiped pure dps classes, in which case I would need at least 200 dps ZW. push.

Unfortunatly I have stopped parsing solo dps, and have no clue what other equally equiped solo classes can do. This just leaves me with the immaginary knowledge that we are out solo-ed by most classes. This can be fixed 2 ways. 1 : make our self healing usefull again. 2 upgrade our solo dps to be equivalent of most classes. (or maybe 3 : make kiting more efficient again by upping our 2 bow shots dammage).

Also the next disclaimer : I am in a family guild with at least 60 OK equiped characters. Do not discuss our dps, but the figures you know for yourself.

I see most our top end EOF raid bards do around 1-1.3 K.   I'd like to see that around 1.7- 2K which is where most of our tanks and DPS healers are at.

For starters, i'm at work so can't get actual numbers for you right now.

Murc: Right off the bat looking at your parses I was thinking where is banshee at. doesn't look like you are casting it nearly enough IMO.  Think Kall would agree there.

Here is my Typical ZW #'s(MT Group)

EH around 1-1.1k; FTH 1.3; MMIS 1.2-1.4(Clean Runs with minimal rez's)

SS/GDoH; STR/Wis; Stats: Str-850, Int-360

Pierce is usually 52-55% of ZW 95% to Hit, Banshee is Usually 9% followed by Luda's between 8/9%, Shrieking Stab/Infected Blade 6% each, SoD/Garsins 5% each and the rest from Proc's/HO's.

Single Target I will typically pull 1.5-1.7k depending on duraction.  I will sustain 1.4k when chain pulling bixies on second floor over a 10 minute time frame.
