![]() Hello. I created a guardian about a week ago and i'm getting close to reaching lvl 30. My stam line of AA's is nearly complete and i was wondering if someone could suggest a few shields (buckler) that would be good for my level. Most of the websites like eq2i and allakhazam arnt great to find buckler specific shields, and also Im having trouble finding some at the broker. Anyways, some suggestion on lvl 30-40 bucklers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time -mattimus, oasis |

![]() Matt, My opinion may vary from the responses you get here. But... I'd feel confident that something as simple as a mastercrafted buckler will work just fine for you. As you're going to be flying through the low levels I wouldn't invest much in a nice buckler untill a higher level. |

I agree, unless you have a bunch of plat that you wanna waste, Mastercrafted is your best bet at your lvl. I would worry about a really nice one until you hit T6. The lower lvls ( 1-49 ) go by fairly quickly so its pointless to go for the top of the line Buckler like in your 30's. When you hit T7 theres a few nice ones that are obtainable if you can't get the raid ones. One of them that come to mind is Ironplate Shielding I think its called (at work atm so going off of memory) or there's one that drops in HoF that will get you by as well.

![]() Cool, thanks for the advice guys. I think im gonna just buy a mastercrafted buckler and hopefully get the Shiny Brass Shield (zek HQ buckler) and wait it out. Thanks again, -mattimus |

Yer sbs will be a kite shield since you're getting it as a guardian...or did they change it to always be a kite shield? IDK, think it used to be selectable, but if I'm not wrong, it no longer is.

You can buy the SBS buckler off the Shady Swashbuckler once you complete the quest. However it's inferior, in my opinion, to a mastercrafted buckler.

Any quest suggestions or mobs to camp for a nice T6 buckler? Thanks.

![]() Maybe there is one in T6 EoF somewhere? The issue with T6 bucklers is that when most of us went through T6, AAs did not exist. So no tank in their right mind would have dreamed of using a buckler in T6. My guess is that you probably won't find many bucklers in DoF T6 that are good for guards. They're probably tailored for priests. Your best (and easily obtainable) bet is to pick up a MC buckler. But maybe there is a nice one hiding in EoF somewhere... |

I think mastercrafted is the way to go since you level out of T6 so fast
